Wij hadden problemen met onze vlucht, maar Joao bleef in contact en verzekerde ons dat we steeds konden toekomen. We kregen een fantastische ontvangst (incl. ontbijtje, fruit en Madeira wijn) en kwamen onmiddellijk in vakantiestemming. Hij bezorgde ons info over de supermarkten en restaurants in de buurt. Het huisje is goed uitgerust met voldoende borden, bestek, glazen, potten,... maar ook kruiden, waspoeder,... Bovendien is het erg proper. Het dakterras met een prachtig uitzicht is zeker een meerwaarde. De locatie van het huis vonden we ideaal om het eiland te ontdekken. Alles was in max. 1 uur bereikbaar. Volgens ons was Ponta do Sol één van de zonnigste plaatsen op Madeira. Het is zeker een aanrader en we zouden het terug opnieuw boeken.

Die Unterkunft ist so schön, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Viel Liebe zum Detail in der Ausstattung der Wohnung. Haben uns sehr Willkommen gefühlt. Wir hatten immer einen Ansprechpartner, der einem sehr freundlich zur Seite stand. Abgesehen von dem TouristenVerkehr ist es eine wunderschöne und ruhige Lage. Die Dachterasse ist perfekt zum entspannen und man ist größtenteils unbeobachtet.
Die Unterkunft liegt in der Straße eines Touristen Hotspot, dementsprechend ist relativ viel Verkehr und viel Menschen. Uns hat ein Backofen gefehlt.

To go to the village of Ponta do Sol, you need to take the car or to walk 30mins by the old road.
