The host, Cristian, was nice and really responsive to any questions or needs I had. When it turned out I couldn't download the app for entering the apartment to my phone, he made sure I got a key instead and stayed up really late to ensure I got in. The apartment has everything you need and, unlike many places I have stayed, loads of space to hang my clothes. It is also on a quiet side street, so it is really peaceful. There is a decent supermarket about 5 minutes walk away for all your needs and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Bari Station and a little longer to reach the old city.
Public transport in Bari isn't the best, but that's not Cristian's fault and he was great about calling a taxi to take me to the airport at the end of my stay.

Smartly decorated with modern fittings; well designed and felt very secure. We enjoyed our stay - the apartment has a pleasant ambience. Free parking under the trees on a nearby road was very convenient too.
Our only problem was that the power supply tripped whenever we put the kettle and the oven on simultaneously. But this was easily fixed, once we discovered the fuse box.
