Pannonia 1893 Prémium

It is a big hotel, which in its day was without doubt one of the grandest in Hungary. The owners are in the process of restoring the hotel to its former glory, but at the moment there are only 29 rooms available under the description 'Pannonia 1893 Premium'. The room was fantastic, especially at the price, although there could have been more space allocated to the bathroom area. Sopron is a historical town with some very nice restaurants. At one time there was a huge Roman-era fort overlooking the lake but regrettably this was largely demolished during the Russian occupation, and what remains has not been preserved.

The breakfast was a grand affair but unfortunately the offering lacked options. The bathroom was well appointed but was very narrow. The space could have been better utilised. As mentioned, the town of Sopron is very nice but there is not much to do.

Das Zimmer müffelt. Der Teppichboden müsste ausgetauscht werden, den Geruch kriegt man auch mit stundenlangem Lüften nicht heraus

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful. When we asked if they had a scale to weigh our luggage, they actually had one in the garage that we could use. The location was fantastic and the castle atmosphere was evident.

It was hard to find the parking lot but once we did there was no problem.

Az elhelyezkedes kozponti es a szemelyzet nagyon udvarias, kedves es segitokesz volt.

A szalloda kisse regimodi, nem latszott rajta a felujitas. A szobaban a furdoszoba nagyon szukos volt, borzalmas csatornaszag terjengett es a zuhany ajtajat nem lehetett normalisan becsukni. De a szag remes volt. :(
