Stunning views from a completely refurbished apartment

While we had booked number VIII, when we arrived Olivier showed us VIII and IX one floor below. We opted to stay in IX, which has just been completely renovated. It’s a fantastic apartment, with an amazing view of the Rosmeur harbour. Well equipped kitchen with new appliances, comfortable bed and good lounge for enjoying the view. Douarnenez is a great base for exploring the area and Olivier texted us suggestions for day trips. We followed both. They were excellent and took us to places we would not have otherwise found. Parking inside the building was also very convenient.

Can't wait to return

The view from the apartment is stunning. It's spacious, clean & comfortable, with everything you could need. Olivier is so friendly and helpful, and his homemade Far Breton cake was a lovely touch. The parking was very useful for us, and the location is great - just above the harbour, with bars/restaurants very close and the shops are a 3 minute walk away. The town itself is fascinating and spread over quite a large area. Ports, beaches, shops, bars restaurants, but all very low-key, and not 'flashy' or pretentious. The seafood is superb, especially the sardines which the town is famous for, of course.

It's hard to criticise anything - we loved it.we also found the local people very friendly.

Exceptional

Olivier is an exceptional host and his appartment is a real gem by the sea. The bed and shower were excellent and the kitchen was very well eqquiped - including several sorts of tea which we thoroughly degustated. The view over the Douarnenez bay beautifuly crowned our experience. We highly recommend this appartment and will be coming back in the future for sure.

Superb location overlooking the bay and harbour. A quiet setting in the well appointed apartment - clean and modern. Friendly helpful host. Very comfortable bed. Easy accessible, secure parking. Good local shops.

Perfect.

The host was precisely on time and extremely helpful. He came back later in the day to give us some cake that he had cooked. For breakfast he provide for crepes. His information about the area and where we could go was exceptional. The kitchen was excellently provided for. The view from the appartment was astounding. Frankly there was little reason to leave the apartment

Douarnenez is a very old town with lots of very narrow (1,8 metre) streets and a one way system that is difficult to follow. Our TomTom had a different view of the one way system than the reality. The parking space under the appartment was "cosy". For bigger cars it would be very difficult.

Superb location, magnificent view right at the old port, the host presented us with a freshly baked Far breton (local cake) - very charming!

No problem for us but for owners of big cars there should be more info on the quite restricted parking space and instructions on how to navigate the very narrow streets of this old part of town

La vue. L'emplacement. Grand logement avec une pièce de vie agréable.

WC et salle de bains exigus. Sécurité limite pour la douche. Ces 2 pièces demanderaient une bonne rénovation! Placards (KZ) couloir et chambre : état vétuste, très difficile à ouvrir, (sinon impossible avec la machine à laver). lave vaisselle ne fonctionne pas, cafetière en panne. Congélateur et frigo contenant des restes des anciens locataires. Propriétaire pas réactif malgré ses promesses. Accès parking très délicat.

Superbe location!! Vue magnifique on ne se lasse pas de regarder l activité du port. Tous les commerces et restaurants sont en bas de l'appartement. Appartement très confortable où tout est présent pour un confort optimal. Mr Thomas est un hôte très agréable toujours prêt à donner plein de conseils sur la région. Je recommande fortement cette location

Séjour parfait, tout était très bien.

L'emplacement sur le port et proche de toutes les commodités (restaurants, marchés), la vue, les équipements conformes aux descriptions. Notre chienne a été acceptée sans problème (nous avons fait le ménage en partant, bien sûr). Le garage, bien qu'étroit, est un vrai plus dans le quartier.

Die Wohnung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Was auf den Bildern ansprechend aussieht, entspricht nicht ganz der Realität. Das Apartment befindet sich in einem alten Gebäude aus den 60ziger Jahren und renoviert wurde nur oberflächlich.

L'accueil et les conseils, l'emplacement avec vue sur la mer, les nombreux équipements de l'appartement, le confort de la literie.

Rien!! Attention l'accès est un peu compliqué car toutes les rues sont en sens interdit mais c'est un détail, on était garé a 1mn a pied (et il y a également une place de parking couvert et fermé)

Es ist ein Ort, wo man sich wohlfühlt und es hat einen wunderbaren Ausblick in den Hafen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr engagiert und liebenswürdig.

Die Anfahrt zur Unterkunft ist aus unserer Sicht ein echtes Minus. Einbahnstrassen ohne Ende. Und Googel Map hat die aktuellen Einbahnstraßen nicht korrekt angezeigt. Eine mit Strassennamen aufgeliste Anfahrtsbeschreibung wäre sehr hilfreich gewesen.

Séjour très agréable en plein coeur d'une ville avec une histoire chargée

La vue sur mer est sublime, la situation au coeur du port du Rosmeur permet de découvrir la ville de Douarnenez et son histoire facilement à pieds, l'accès à la belle plage des Dames est à 10 minutes. A plus grande échelle, l'appartement est également bien situé pour visiter la région (pointe du Raz, presqu'île de Crozon, île Tudy..), absolument magnifique. L'accueil par l'hôte est chaleureux avec des surprises gourmandes à l'arrivée et pendant le séjour ! Ses conseils de visite de la région et ses adresses de restaurant sont à suivre. Merci ! L'appartement est ultra propre, très bien équipé.

Il faut prévenir sur le site que l'accès au parking pour garer la voiture est ultra compliqué, surtout avec un véhicule type SUV ou une berline de grande taille. L'agitation permanente qui va avec la situation de l'appartement à 2 pas des bars du port ne permet pas d'envisager des soirées calmes. Amoureux des nuits paisibles s'abstenir surtout la semaine du festival du cinéma ! Suggestions d'équipement supplémentaires : espace et/ou accessoires pour faire sécher 4 foutas et maillots de bain en retour de plage.

Vue extraordinaire sur le Port Rosmeur. Appartement vaste et bien conçu. Très bien équipé en électroménager , vaisselles , linge de maison...... Parfaite propreté. Bel emplacement en front de mer , face à la baie et au lever de soleil. Idéal pour visiter les différentes "pointes" y compris celle du Raz et parcourir des tronçons du GR34. Par contre le plan de circulation(nouveau apparemment) a du être conçu par un ennemi déclaré des voitures... Séjour parfait

Incontournable, de part l'endroit et la qualité de l'accueil !

Olivier, notre hôte, est très arrangeant et toujours aux petits soins (Nous avions déjà eu recours à ses services une fois et c'était si bien que nous sommes revenus) l'appartement est très bien agencé, fonctionnel. On pourrait se croire à l'hotel avec toutes ses petites attentions (dosettes de café pour le matin, bouteilles d'eau pour la nuit) ou chez soi. La vue est exceptionnelle et quelle plaisir de dormir en entendant la mer. Encore une adresse qu'on n'a pas envie de partager de peur qu'elle devienne indisponible, tant on y est bien.

Olivier met la barre si haute qu'il n'y a pas grand chose à améliorer. Du grand art !

Appartement avec vue imprenable.

La pièce de vie de l'appartement offre une vue imprenable sur le port, pour admirer le lever et le coucher du soleil sur la mer bien à l'abri, quel que soit le temps . Il a tout les équipements et le confort nécessaires pour un séjour de plusieurs jours. La mise à disposition de thés et café à l'arrivée est aussi très agréable. Le propriétaire assure un accueil personnalisé et est disponible si besoin pendant le séjour. Très bonne localisation de l'appartement par rapport aux sites d'intérêt et aux commerces.

L'accès à la place de parking n'est pas pratique (entrée étroite avec accès par une rampe métallique). Il vaut mieux laisser sa voiture sur le parking gratuit à 2 mn à pied, si on se déplace plusieurs fois dans la journée.
