Everything was brilliant. Communication with Carl in the uk to communication with Marcia on the island. The villa is beautiful and even more spacious than it appears in the photos. There is everything you need for a very comfortable week. The swimming pool and gym is in the building around the corner, no distance at all! The plunge pool is in the back garden and everything is very well maintained. The beds were super comfy! The grounds are secure and have a gate and security.
The beach is a 9minute walk down the road and 5minutes to the local bar and bus stop. The buses are frequent and a lot of fun! The supermarket is a 8 minute drive and holetown is 20minutes south with an even bigger availability of stores. There are restaurants up and down the beach road. Some local and some fancy.

Absolutely stunning villa - great size, perfectly proportioned living/dining/patio area for a group trip or family. Walkable to beaches and amazing restaurants. Couldn’t fault it.

Shimmers is beautiful place from which to enjoy Barbados. It’s beautifully designed within and has all the modern facilities you could ask for. Marcia, the property manager, was friendly and communicable, and the beach is a short walk away for sunrise swims and sundowner drinks.

Shimmers pictures are beautiful - only overshadowed by the actual venue. :)
Small attentions to homely details made our stay truly enjoyable.
Excellent comms with hosts - when we return to Barbados we will definitely book again.
