Woodwinds 1271 Spacious Mountain Modern Home with Private Hot Tub, Fireplace and Garage
This beautiful, 4 bedroom + entertainment room, 3 bathroom townhome is located on the fairway of the Sierra Star golf course and minutes from the ski lifts and the Village at Mammoth. This spacious townhouse offers expansive living space across the 3 level home, including an entertainment movie room, with access to the private hot tub on the lower covered terrace. There is an outdoor dining area with gas grill on the upper covered terrace. The living area on the second floor has a gas fireplace, cozy leather seating and is a great space for family gatherings or to watch the 85” flatscreen Smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and gas range has all the amenities you will need to prepare meals. The dining area with ample seating allows you to host the whole family. The master suite upstairs on the 3rd level boasts a new King bed, private en-suite bathroom with double vanity, a walk-in shower, a separate jacuzzi tub and closet. With a gas fireplace, and flatscreen Smart TV, this is a gorgeous private primary suite. Included on this floor is your very own home office nook with printer. The second and third bedrooms on the main living area are perfect guest bedrooms both featuring a King bed, flatscreen TV with Apple TV and a shared hall full bathroom with shower/tub combo. The fourth bedroom on the lower level is perfect for the kids with two sets of Twin bunk beds providing sleeping for 4, and an additional twin sofa-bed in the adjacent entertainment room. The full bath on this lower level has a walk-in shower. These amenities create the perfect floor for the kids to hang out and enjoy the large flatscreen TV with Cable, Apple TV and DVD Player and a comfortable large leather sofa. This room is stocked with games and also comes with a WII console with a variety of choices. Enjoy all the comforts of home with a private washer/dryer in the laundry room, free wireless internet, a portable pack n play and high chair, making travel easier for families. There is a private 1 car garage (garage clearance 7' 7"), with an entrance to the lower level of the unit. The private driveway can accommodate 3 additional vehicles, providing plenty of parking for family and guests. The unit does not allow pets, is non-smoking both in and around the property and sleeps a maximum of 11 people. The Woodwinds community is nestled in the forest surrounding the Sierra Star Golf Course, but just a short drive to Eagle or Canyon Lodge or the Village. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. There are 10 steps leading up to the front door access of the unit and there are 3 levels inside, with a ground level entrance to the lower level. Our calendar is updated in real time. We had nine people from 17 to 83. We found the place well located and with most amenities we would want. We enjoyed the spa, but it had not been locked down when we arrived, nor had the outdoor grill been cleaned. Pollen in the air was a constant nuisance, as it covered every surface and we had nothing to clean it up with. We ordinarily leave venues such as this as we found them. We could not figure out how to run the AC, but did not report that it might have not worked. The worst issue is the total lack of storage space in the kitchen for 6 days worth of food we brought—snacks, chips, canned goods, fruit, breads, crackers, etc. this made for a terribly cluttered and unwieldy countertop! There is almost zero pantry space. The huge dining table was a plus because it seated all in our party. Access to the home and key-retrieval were easy-peasy. Beds were quite comfortable in each room. We liked the accessibility to area features such as dining, shopping, groceries, and so on.

Great house and amenities, one significant issue was no cold water in downstairs sink (shut off), coffee maker crafe isn’t original and doesn’t work without putting something under it to lift it. House needs instructions for some appliances including coffee maker, microwave and spa.
Overall GREAT house prefect for 4 couples or larger family. We would definitely rent again.
