Very pretty location with mature trees all around. The Victorian style house has a stream running next to the property. A refurbished section of the original water flume that ends next to the house (hence the name) is a cool historical touch. The room was small as you might expect in that style of house but comfortable and nicely decorated. The continental style breakfast in the kitchen and dining room had a good amount of options

High attention to detail and visual presentation. Felt like a true haven, which is surprising so close to town. A lot of historical items have been woven into the property which made it feel cozy and quaint! Several outdoor sitting spaces right at the water that runs through the property.
The outside stairs down to the room were a little treacherous, especially with an armload of things in the dark, but that isn’t an easy fix and would require major construction. Also, the loud beeps that the door locks made made me feel bad for the guests near my room. Breakfast could have more non-bread options.
