Prince apartment downtown

Superb location, well kept apartment with a very easy check in process.

Only slight issue was that I couldn’t manage to get the AC to stay on at times which I think may be due to it being building controlled? But that was only an issue due to how hot it was during the stay.

Excellent location , good host, she solves issues very fast.

Another chair would be great and a knife to cut in the kitchen.

The apartment is really big and spacious, the balcony was really nice and the view & location were spectacular. Unfortunately when we got to the apartment there was a very foul smell, which turned out to be the result of some maintenance work done in the apartment & it not having enough time to air out. We explained the situation to the host & how we wouldn’t be able to stay there, and they were 100% understanding and took accountability by accepting our request for a free cancellation no questions asked. If it weren’t for the smell - which was a very specific issue to be solved - we would’ve been so happy with the place so I’d still recommend it!

Booking.com had the incorrect address on the confirmation;,we arrived very late at night and driver wanted to leave us there. Lucky he kindly phoned the host and finally got to the correct location. The apartment was without electricity for half our stay. Only a few plugs worked and one lamp. Bathroom and kitchenette were in complete darkness. When the host was first advised she asked us ‘how is it you have no electricity?’ She asked us to check the switch board (up high above the door). We couldn’t reach safely; she came but couldn’t reset the fuses. There is serious water damage on a wall backing onto the bathroom and she said this is why the power was off! The building maintenance chap just turned up to check the water damage! We thought he was the electrician but no…. Phone calls (off my phone) followed between hosts and the maintenance chap and several more visits. Host came again later that evening to try to reset power, but couldn’t! Very poor situation for us… we appreciate the host tried but if it was due to the water damage, they would’ve known about it for days as it’s extensive.
