The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially as we arrived quite late due to our flight arrival time, and they kept the kitchen open for us so we could have dinner. The food was good and the location is really beautiful.
We had a small problem with our booking which was actually Booking.com's fault, not that of the property but the staff couldnt find our booking due to some glitch where we were automatically checked in.
The property is in need of some renovation and modernisation as the wallpaper is peeling off in places and the ceiling is a bit decrepid.... the bathroom mirror was weirdly low

The wonderful staff made our stay joyous. Lydia treated us like family and everyone made us feel at home. We had a lovely time and learned a bit about the area. We had a very enjoyable chat with the horticulturalist, who tends the magnificent garden.
Our timing missed the full Irish Breakfast due to a weekday stay but we made do with the continental.

Quiet location with lovely views of Lismore Castle. Super breakfast in lovely dining room and very helpful/obliging staff.
The property and surrounds are in need of upgrade at this stage. I understand this is planned and would be happy to return on completion.
