The Old Bakery - Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages

Fantastic amount of space and comfort Thoughtful hosts - a few dish washer tabs were provided etc. Very well equipped, tons of plates & cups with a good sized dining table and lots of different seating areas. Very luxurious and relaxing. Everything well designed and stylish. Right near the sea and the High Street.

There was nothing that wasn’t perfect.

Lovely flat, and so warm which was lovely especially after a walk. It was pleasant to sit in the evening and chat in such a welcoming room, and the whole flat was so very clean when we arrived which is always a relief. The parking was not an issue. Lots of space and light and very well appointed.

Honestly, we would not have booked this place if we had been aware of the noise from the bakery below. From 6am with the noise of the deliveries, through to all day music very audible in the living room until gone 6pm, combined with the constant slamming of a door downstairs which shook the whole building, the whole week was not as relaxing as we had hoped. If you like to wake early and maybe are a fairly noisy family who go out and do stuff, this is ideal but if you go away for late mornings, doing a bit of reading and peace and quiet, this maybe isn’t the flat for you.

Beautiful, comfortable, very spacious property with everything you need, right in the middle of Aldeburgh.
