Very well done, nicely decorated with a contemporary feel but keeping some of the old features. We loved the peaceful rooftop terrace with splash pool.
Just a little on the edge of the town.
Not too far to walk, but once you leave to old town the street/area became a little bit rundown.
Although it felt very safe to walk around. Also on the walk in towards the old town and around the property there was quite a bit of building work.

You couldn't ask for more from the Porte Vetere. It was a lovely stroll to the waterfront and castle. The room had everything you needed and more. It was cosy and comfortable. The pool on the rooftop was wonderful. The breakfast offered was very substantial with items fresh cooked. Free parking on the street just near the rooms. Communication was easy and clear.

A truly fabulous hotel in a wonderful city. The room, terrace, breakfast and staff were all fabulous. Couldn't have wished for a better stay, it was superb.

Very well renovated guest house a short walk (10 mins) from the harbour. Great rooms, really lovely roof terrace with little plunge pool, excellent breakfast, helpful staff.
