For the price, Soukyam provides very good value.
Again, for the price, very good vslue. However, a bath mat and a solud handle would improve the risk issues for the bathroom floor.

We stayed at Soukyam Hotel in Kolkata for four days and had a very comfortable experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for a couple. The bed and air-conditioning were excellent, and housekeeping was consistent. Breakfast was included in our price and was of good quality.
The highlight was the helpful and courteous staff, who were always ready to assist with any request. Ms Chumky at the reception was particularly courteous and helpful. For anyone looking for a clean, safe, and comfortable budget stay in Kolkata, this hotel is a great choice.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The property was clean throughout. The ceiling fan as very quiet. No tipping policy.
There was a smell of drains on the top floor.
