Stayed for just one night, part of my wife’s birthday. Really enjoyed the jetted sidling tub, and the bed was quite comf

Very quiet! You hardly even know there are other guests staying at the property. Although the cars aren’t that far from each other, it is easy enough to forget others are there. Makes it feel way more secluded and private than it actually is.

The game room located in the “common area” was supposed to be accessible using pass same code used to access rail car we rented. Made several attempts to unlock it, but it didn’t work. Wasn’t a big deal, as we were just exploring and looking around. We didn’t intend on using the games or laundry, which I guess was a good thing.

Interesting, fun & a bit different. Would recommend!

Very cute, nice clean property. Loved the detail to authenticate the ambiance. Staff was relatively responsive considering the off site situation. Small fridge. Nice area for walking our dog. Good WiFi, good parking. Good pressure & hot water in shower.

Stay here for sonething different

This is the second year I have visited the railroad motel. I love the interior of the caboose. It has so many cute touches. The room is clean and comfortable. Staying here makes for a memorable night’s stay!

Great, private, intimate place!

It was great staying in a caboose renovated into a comfortable, secure, and private place to stay the weekend. The price was excellent and the lack of people made it intimate.

The only thing slightly bad was the way we had to walk around the bed hurt our knees.

It was easy to find and very cute.

Very insufficient outdoor lighting! I didn’t like it that there was no privacy once you were inside. Sorta a bit in the restroom. But none with the shower. Nothing dividing the view of the shower.

Amazing stay

I would stay at this property forever if I could. Central yet quiet location, super clean, comfortable, and so adorable.

Other train renters leaving their outside lights on overnight- but I am aware I am crazy picky about it being pitch dark.

A very nice place to stay to for a personal getaway.

As a train buff, I liked the idea of staying in a caboose, as I have fantasized about living in one most of my life. The Casino Royale one was comfortable and the bed was especially so. I will definitely pass on my experience to my friends and family.

Great place to stay in Sequim

Whimsical

We decided to do a weekend getaway and decided on Sequim on a whim. The Olympic Railway Inn was intriguing and we decided to try it out. Only one caboose - The Whizard - was available. If you’re a Harry Potter fan or just interested in wizardry and stuff like that, this is the place for you. We loved our stay so much that we’ve decided to try all the other cabooses on that property over the next several years

Great concept but also a super-comfortable stay. Recommended.

There is not breakfast at this location. But the coffee machine worked well, and the fridge and microwave helped with that.

No complaints. This was a very interesting property (obviously), but it was also super-comfortable. The really large tub was a nice addition.

We did love the fun experience of sleeping in a train car, but the noises were a little annoying.

Loved the Caboose. It was so well decorated in the right style. Our was Western style. Very nice.

The only negative was the strange noises we heard, occasionally all right. We think it might have just been the old caboose settling, but it did wake us up. We did not get a good night's sleep.

A must do experience. Will stay again!

A totally different experience for us. We chose the "Steampunk" room because it had a shower. Was very impressed with the decor and how they fit everything in train caboose. Clean (spotless) and very quiet. You will have to experience it to best appreciate what they have done.

I stayed in almost every caboose my very favorite is “Lavander “ but there are all unique

I stayed at the Lavander and I notice the blinders were not working well and perhaps need it to be replace they seem old and cheap . Luther than that everything was great and as expected

Everything surpassed our expectations. The inside decor was stunning.

The lock on the front door is confusing. The lock on the bathroom really needs attention. Please add couple extra blankets in chest it was cold last night. The shade by the record player didn’t close. Oh the coffee pot did not work corrrct! After using many kueirigs this one was not user friendly. We waited like 10 minutes to get it to work but still we thought the caboose, decor and very idea was just wonderful.

Our Wild Wild West experience in Sequim WA!

Our railroad car was "The Wild West" my husband and I had a wonderful trip to Sequim over the 4th. Watched a spectacular view of the 4th of July fireworks 🎆 from the inside top of the car where the former railroad employees would sit long ago. The history and imagining what it would have been like to be in this era was available to watch and read about! John Wayne was right there with us:) perfect little pond in the center of the property was so peaceful. We watched the ducks and the birds. Very very clean and tidy! Perfect trip!

Unique and fun. Not the run of the mill hotel room. The grounds were nice, the surrounding area and views were good, too.

We loved it, you don’t have to be a train buff to enjoy staying there.

There was no breakfast. We knew that in advance. The location is nice, easy to find and quiet enough. The accommodations are so unique and special, with some pleasant surprises, like a game room and a little pond with ducks. I only wish we could have spent more time there.

Mother/daughter stayed in "Wild West", there was no shower (a clawfoot tub was cute, but we typically use a shower, so were surprised by the tub only option), no privacy (which is understandable)

Quiet and peaceful and a value especially compared to neighboring motels.

Location and the pond with ducks. It was very peaceful and quiet.

There was one fly and it was a pain all night. The ac units filters were full of dust( I informed them the next day, they said they would have fixed it that night, I don’t enjoy people fixing something while I’m there that they should have already had the wherewithal to already have taken care of it) the sink has no room to put your shaving bag or even a toothbrush. Nothing is labeled on the outside so you have to dig around to find pillows etc. There is labels on the shelves and there was no extra blanket for the queen bed which I could have used since the hvac unit remotes are difficult to guess how to use(they have symbols for heat or ac instead of words and you have to guess what each symbol means.

Fun adventure

So much fun for us and the dogs loved every minute at the Grape Escape car. I can't wait to go back to a train car with a second story higher up next time! Not to mention the amazing area breathtaking views everywhere and you should really check out the Olympic game farm. Got to pet so many giant elk bison and more!

Awesome details, some limitations, a great deal!

The train cars were exceptionally decorated by theme. We rented both the steampunk and Casino Royale cars. It got pretty cold overnight and one of the cars had an extra blanket and the other didn’t. If we had set the heat correctly it probably wouldn’t have mattered to much. These are very much two people maximum spaces. It was so much fun investigating the details and enjoying playing table games in the “train station” building.

Staying in a caboose is a fun change to staying in hotels.

Super cute train cars. The location was convenient to Olympic National Park.

The “second bed” was a very hard fold down couch. The main bed was comfortable. I don’t like that there is no front desk. It seems a bit isolated and creepy to be alone there. We found the doors difficult to close in our train car. The frogs were really loud - both good and bad.

Perfect retreat to reset in Sequim

Studio had well equipped kitchenette a gorgeous bathroom, super comfortable soft bed with plenty of pillows, and excellent lighting day and evening. The room has climate controlled heat pump/ac and a heater for the bathroom area to stay cozy in the winter. Bonus free washer and dryer with detergent offered and a pool table/ table soccer game in the game room to play while one waits. It was quiet at night and not too noisy during the day even with local traffic. Beautiful scenery all around, cute ducks in the pond, and convenient location to Sequim and other sites in the area.

Almost perfect! Only thing I would change is that the room spray upon entry was a little strong for my chemical sensitivities. However, after a few minutes with an open window, the smell calmed and I didn’t have any side effects or bad reactions for the rest of my stay.
