Hotel Almasur Providencia

Great location, walkable to Sky Costanera and 9mins walk from metro station - red line that connects to all the tourist spots. 10-20min uber to most tourist places. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was instantly hot with good water pressure. Lovely staff and great facilities for a small hotel. Only downside was that you have to go down to reception for the filtered water dispenser. Would be great to have one on each level.

Lovely hotel. Great location, helpful staff, clean and really good value

Hotel maravilhoso! Super recomendo!

We arrived at two in the morning and the staff could barely look up from their phones to check us in. They had umbrellas on the bench and they left them there so we had to hand things around. Never once did they offer to help us find the elevators or help with our luggage despite the fact we were clearly exhausted (and in our 60s). After that, it was only less pleasant. The only time we encountered friendly staff was at the very end when 2 young men were helpful and briefly storing our luggage. The gym was average at best with old equipment and cannot figure out why people were raving about it. The pool was closed for renovations ,but we were never informed. There were sandbags everywhere which were actually quite a tripping hazard. We booked an apartment with a balcony. But basically it was a standard sized room with a big wall in the middle. We walked out over garbage on rooftops in front. I certainly would not rate it 4* nor ever recommend it.
