2 Bedroom Penthouse - large balcony - Minster view

Fantastic apartment, close to town so we could walk. Secure, comfortable, spacious and owner really helpful. Well equipped, great car parking and washing machine. Has a large balcony but the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t use it. Supermarket close by.

We needed guidance to get the key as there is so many details and I may have missed an email but easily sorted by a phone call. Unfortunately the clothes dryer was faulty but owner unaware.

This apartment was very special. It was on the top floor and had a unique wrap around balcony / roof terrace accessible by the main living space and BOTH bedrooms! It was quiet, had an EV charging space in a locked car park and was so close to the city Centre you could see the minster and walk to the walls in 5mins. I loved this place, wanted to buy it in fact HAHA

Location was excellent, a 15-minute walk to the York city center. It has a great view of the cathedral from the wide windows. The living room/dining room/kitchen area was spacious and nicely decorated, low key. The TV worked great. The kitchen was well-stocked with coffee press in particular. Sitting area was large and comfy. Beds were solid and comfy. The building, parking lot and doorway to the unit were very secure. The hostess, Rebecca, was awesome to deal with, especially when we wanted to keep our car parked there for a few hours over check-out time. This saved us a lot of hassle trying to find a parking space in the city while we toured Yorkminster Cathedral. This is a great unit and a great hostess running it.

The shower was way too hot. It was very hard to control the temperature and the lowest I could get it was close to scalding. Needs work to get to a more lukewarm temperature.
