Villa Araliya

It was so peaceful. I stayed longer than I booked, to have so many days without horns, roosters and dogs barking was absolutely heavenly I loved it. The family that hosts are the kindest people you would like to meet. If I do get back to Sri Lanka this will be the spot I come back too.

Nothing loved every moment

The place has an amazing view over the lagoon, spacious and very quiet and peaceful. Ravil and his family make you feel like you're home. They were very helpful anytime they were needed

Ravil and his family were fantastic hosts, warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The apartment is very spacious, featuring a beautiful outdoor terrace, a pool which is cleaned daily and a balcony overlooking the lake. The setting is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, with truly stunning sunrises and sunsets that make the experience even more special. I was working during my stay and the WiFi was fast and reliable. You can expect a calm and comfortable stay here. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe throughout my visit.

The price is very reasonable, yet the facilities feel luxurious. Our room had a beautiful panoramic lake view, which made the stay even more special. The property is run by a lovely family who are incredibly attentive and helpful. The owner and his son were both very friendly, and they went above and beyond to support us during our stay. The room is spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a separate small kitchen and dining area, which was very convenient. They also offer activities like kayaking and catamaran boat safaris definitely worth trying! The environment is calm and peaceful, and the sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay!
