The location was very quiet, with ample space around, and an easy walk to the beach. Very friendly atmosphere. Seemed to be popular mainly with Russian and English guests. We had rented a car, which is necessary in this location as there are no real shops or restaurants in walking distance. it is a short 10 minute drive to Downtown El Gouna, which was perfect. We were a bit worried about the bed/mattress and its comfort, but at 160x200 there was enough space and the mattress was very comfortable.

The shop in the building is a bit of a rip off. Go to Eibeed in El Gouna for essentials, it is much cheaper. The kitchen in the apartment was very poorly furnished, with really old cutlery, plates, pots and pans. I feel this should be improved on. Not even a mug for coffee was there, just one small cup and three glasses; the pan was loosing all its anti-stick coating. Not very healthy to cook with! Would at least have expected a tea towel to dry the dishes, a sponge, some washing up liquid. Plus a second towel per guest would have been nice. Otherwise, all was as one can expect at this budget price.

Very far from the town, about 27 km to reach services or emergency in hurghada. The beach isn't ready for use, no beach to get into, the sea is so far. There were ants in the room.
