Lovely stay. Hope to go again.

Location and property was perfect for me and what I was doing whilst there. It was convenient for travel to Cumbrian Heavy Horses and Silecroft Beach. Rail line added bonus to travel around to other places and leave the car behind.

Don’t stay here unless you’re desperate

This house is infested with flies, it was nasty. We found loose Pringles next to the sofa. They were stuck together and probably had been there for ages. Glasses had what looked like dried milk all over them. Beds are squeaky and uncomfortable. I spent over £300 to stay here and it is not worth that much

Good Base For Walking.

Clean, comfortable and enough indoor space.

Outside space. Lots of weeds and neglected planters. Although a tiny space it could be much better if screened and cleaned and good plants in pots used.

A like the view of the mountains, and the proprietor was very friendly and very helpful. She was very helpful in helping to solve the situation that happen when we arrived there.

When I arrived the property was very dirty, and moreover is smaller than what looks in the photos. The place is very far away from everything, the first shop is 10min driving. However, is very good for those who want to go away from people and busy cities.

Parking is not quite obvious - most of the time the on-street parking was occupied, so had to find some parking spaces in the parking area nearby.

Beautiful position just take provisions

Very peaceful, quiet 10 minute walk to the beach approx 1 hour to Ambleside but a beautiful drive

Only downside was there was no where to walk to for anything to eat. The local pub was next door but doesn't serve food and only open a few days, infact it is for sale. You need to take provisions with you as no local shops around. There are near villages aprox 10 to 15 mins away by car

Good place to stay but overpriced.

The house is close to the beach, was clean , TV had Netflix , good Wi-Fi , electric fireplaces were a nice touch .

No toiletries were provided which is pretty regular elsewhere . There is a small seating area behind the house , not a garden ( this could have been better worded in the description as it’s important for someone bringing pets along ) . I don’t think the price for this stay is justified.
