The house is really cosy, you feel at home. The breakfast is self breakfast but so generous for the price of the room !

Good value for money with lots of facilities that could be used within the house. The private twin room with en-suite had everything you needed.
It would be good if there was a bike shed or something secure to lock the bikes to over night for peace of mind

Andrew greeted us and asked if we had travelled far, saying we had he proceeded to make us a cuppa each and offered us cake - which unfortunately we couldn't have as my niece was gluten free and I am vegan - but the offer was there and much appreciated. Andrew said had we let him know he would have ensured there was something suitable for us as a snack and for breakfast. There was a kitchen we could use to prepare food, washing machine, nice conservatory to sit overlooking the garden, and a lounge with TV and dining table + free parking. Our room on the top floor didn't have a view and the roof was sloped so you needed to mind your head but there was an ensuite, the beds were comfy, a TV in the room and wifi that worked. There was a stand-up shower room off the kitchen if you wanted to stand in the shower - not just have a bath. Everything was very clean and the staff and Andrew very helpful, respectful and pleasant. Andrew made a point of learning and remembering our names. The accommodation was a short drive to Ipswich and close to the A12. On the first night we went to a nice restaurant for a pizza (vegan and gluten free) - then we discovered Chestnut and Rose vegan cafe which was only 3-minute drive from the house (very good gift shop in the post office two doors down too.) The food was fabulous and plenty of gluten free options - breakfast sorted. We went there two days running and the place was always busy and not with vegans! All in all, a very enjoyable stay - would definitely stay there again.
The car park was a bit fiddly to get in and out of especially when there were other guests.

Hikers & Bikers is exactly as advertised. Owner welcoming and a nice little room to chill in if you'd wanted to. My friend and I shared the twin room - the beds were comfy and the en-suite clean.
You wouldn't want to be over 5'7" in this room - as per the picture you are in the eves and there's not much height.
Definitely priced about right and good value for what it is.

Easy booking, checking in, and easy to find. Well located just outside Ipswich.
The room was well equipped, including a fan and bottled water, which was appreciated during the hot spell. There were also shower gels, towels, etc, if you didn't bring your own.
The beds were very comfortable!
We didn't use the kitchen or other amenities, but they looked to be well equipped and clean and tidy.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast too, though we don't usually eat breakfast, but the pain au chocolate went down well 😀
Low ceilings in the upstairs twin room. Actually, it wasn't a problem for me at all at 5ft 3; just mentioning it for those of a taller disposition! 😉

I have stayed before and the breakfast is great, plenty of choice
The attic room has some low door frames, (which are padded) but still hit them a few times as forget when turned around or in middle of night

All breakfast things like cereal, milk, bread and marmalade, plus tea/coffee were provided free of charge. They even had a fruit bowl of bananas and apples etc., plus cake and buns to go with your hot drinks. Very impressed! The bathroom had a lovely shower in the bath and shampoo and shower gel was supplied. There was a fully-equipped kitchen and a cute little dining room with Van Gogh paintings all over the walls. Also, a large conservatory looking into the garden at the back of the house, with very comfortable chairs. In the garden were a table and parasol plus comfy wooded wicker-work chairs. It was so nice and relaxing to sit out in the garden or in the conservatory. The decor couldn't have been nicer.

Being able to do a quick load of washing and then iron it was a godsend. The breakfast of cereals and toast also very welcome. A four bed dorm means that disturbances are minimised. If you get to the property early enough you may get a parking space too.
Even though I have been before I still had trouble of locating the place, a combination of me being tired and the signage not being the most prominent.

Cleanliness: The hotel maintained level of cleanliness, which greatly contributed to a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.
Convenient Location: The hotel's easy-to-find location was a definite plus, making it accessible and hassle-free to locate.
Noise Disturbance: Unfortunately, the proximity to the main road proved to be a downside, as the constant noise from passing vehicles was quite disruptive.
Temperature Challenges: Another drawback was the cold room and bathroom temperatures.

Easy to get into top bunk, generous continental breakfast. Great hosts.
I know the road outside is busy, had been for the sixty years I have known it, but makes it a little difficult to precisely locate the property.
