Très bon accueil à distance par l'hôte. La maison est conforme aux critiques : une rénovation parfaite. Il y a plein de petites attentions, un grand confort (lit de bonnes dimensions, douche agréable, et à l'étage un salon confortable et une cuisine bien équipée. Le jardin est un havre de paix à l'abris de toute pollution chimique/phytosanitaire pour les pollinisateurs et les lézards. Le soir, la clarté du ciel est exceptionnelle et permet d'admirer les étoiles avant de le faire aux différents points du Roque de Los Muchachos (30 minutes de route sinueuses, un des logements les plus près de ce site exceptionnel). Je désapprouve les personnes qui mettent une note de 10/10 trop facilement, mais là je ne peux que m'incliner.

It was 3rd time here already and I will come back again for sure, because this place is just incredible. This is hidden gem, the house is remote, but you will appreciate silence and total privacy.

The house is remote, with 100% privacy. There are beautiful nature walks close to the house. Roque de los Muchachos is close by, so you can do stargazing there without having to drive a long way home. The house was very cosy and clean with all the facilities you might need and also many little details to make you feel welcome and comfortable. It was the most cosy house we've ever rented. Bed with excellent mattress and pillows. Well worth a visit.

In January the house can be very cold because of the altitude > 1000m. The kitchen and dining area don't have heaters, but the rest of the house does. It was not a huge problem for us, but we were happy to have brought some warm sweaters and beanies for cooking and eating. It's a great location for seeing the North of the island, but to get to the South of the Taburiente crater you need to consider 1.5h of 'intense' driving. The second half of our trip we spend in a house South of the crater. Which was a good combination to see the whole island.
