Jollys-Contemporary Beachfront Property, Pet Friendly with optional Hot Tub

The location is ideal, around the corner from the beach and a nice base to explore the isle. The modern look inside was also nice, and the place was well stocked even providing washing up liquid, coffees/teas, and some milk. The house itself was spacious and comfortable.

Extra charge of £100 for a pretty basic hot tub, first time I've had to pay a surcharge on top for use and expected a better tub. Could also do with a canopy over the tub for when it's raining outside so you can enjoy it every night, and with the 3 surrounding walls it would be relatively easy to install. The individual thermostats in each room was a chore to keep track of turning off and on considering the underfloor heating isn't the most efficient in the first place. There was a funky smell under the stairs cupboard which wasn't very pleasing. Finally, considering the cost, the mattress in the main bedroom wasn't the most comfortable, felt cheap. Also one of the pans in the kitchen, the non stick is flaking and needs throwing away as having microplastics in your food isn't very appetising. All this said, the main reason I have these criticisms is because of the cost and if a lowered price I would overlook most of these. The cost for the 5 nights was almost the cost of a holiday abroad.

The property was absolutely beautiful, so well equipped with everything you need there.

The location and general overall layout and design , it worked well with our 7 and 15 year old children . Private parking was a massive bonus and although it wasnt really beach weather, it’s a fantastic location for beach lovers.

Garden may not be suitable for very young children but this didn’t put us off.
