Half-Mi to Dawkins Rail Trail: Family Home w/ Yard

We stayed at this location so we could attend our friends wedding in Paintsville. The house was awesome! Plenty of room for both of our smaller children and four adults. We loved having the extra space that a hotel room could not provide. There was more than enough towels and toiletries to use. The kitchen is also very well stocked! The overall touch and decor throughout the house is very well done and the house has so much character! Check in and check out procedures were very simple. The lock box was very simple to use upon check in.

No major complaints, the house was clean and in a good location close to many of the local attractions of the area. We had two larger pick up trucks (2500s) and parking at the angle of the driveway was a little tricky for us - but they did fit. The top floor bedroom lets in some road noise. Also, the address from booking.com took us to the completely wrong location, just a few minutes down the road. (I don't know if it was just our GPS ??) So just be mindful when travelling to pay close attention to the landmarks provided from the rental company so you can arrive at the right location :)

It was wonderful

Loved this property! It's centrally located between Paintsville and Prestonsburg. The house is large and has shared space and space for privacy. The house is stocked with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay. It's at an intersection so there is some road noise but it is only momentary. We will use this property for all returned trips to the area.
