Cosy and comfortable secluded cottage

We loved our stay.

We loved our stay! The house being on the end of a col-de-sac of an already quiet neighborhood is perfect. The only noises you hear are the birds. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. Everything was clean and tidy. Meeting with the owner for the keys was a pleasure, she is kind and excited you are there.

A place that is viable to stay only through active help from ppl who book it

Quiet place and spacious one

Very unpleasant stay. From the beggining (before arriving at the house) there were problems. First of all the house was not in the mark that map shows ( i triple check it with other booking services except booking.com). Also i could not find it in google streetview and we were very anxious about it. Further more both hosts have difficulty to communicate in English . So they gave us the daughter's phone number to communicate, but....the number was wrong-not existing and we couldn't do that for 2 days prior to our arrival. We final got to code (through booking.com chat service) and found the house by luck ! Entering more surprises . The sheetbeds/pillows etc were undone , and we've done that. I have not ever see that again , and i travel a lot !!! Soon we understand in what basis the house was operating. Open packs of food , coffees etc show the way.. There was no soap. no bathroom foam , no shampoo (just from other ppl previously, that left it there...shampoos from italy or japan etc...). We have to buy all these. Oh i should not forget that there were many sponges. As you can understand used sponges. What the hell , should we use them ? Too much of a black humor. No toilet paper(+1 more for a week) is something to be expected after all. There was on ac remote controller for 2 units (at the lower floor) with DEAD batteries !!! Something very annoying was there were no shutters in windows. And guess what. Sunrise was straight ahead of our windows . 5.45 wake up each day was SUPER unpleasant. The house was 8 km away from Huy and 6 km away from the super markets , so there was a little be annoying to shop something or have a stroll around . I do not know if you do mind that ..but the place is near a NUCLEAR power plant. For the last part i should mention that although we booked the place 2 ppl we were told that "we'll enjoy both bedrooms" . But that was not the case..one of it was locked.

Un bel abri à découvrir

Un accueil chaleureux de la part de nos hôtes, attentifs et prévenants Le logement est très spacieux, propre, doté de tous les équipements utiles. Une jolie vue permanente sur la campagne grâce à la grande baie vitrée Le logement, situé près des arbres, garde la fraîcheur, très appréciée lors des fortes chaleurs.

🤔 Il serait peut être bien de prévoir un autre couteau de cuisine....Sinon rien à dire 😊
