Nous avions avec nous une personne en fauteuil roulant et l'appartement était bien adapté. La salle de bain a une douche italienne très accessible. Il y a de l'espace pour circuler.
Nous avons déplacé un des lits dans le séjour où on peut faire un coin chambre à coucher.
L'appartement est bien chauffé. C'était très propre et vraiment très bien équipé.
Le logement est à deux pas du centre thee de Valens qui est parfaitement équipé pour les personnes pmr, autant pour le vestiaire avec lit médicalisé que l'accès au bassin.
On a eu un peu de stress à l'arrivée car le code envoyé n'était pas associé à un numéro d'appartement. Il a fallu essayer tous les numéros. Puisqu'il n'y a pas de réception. Le personnel a ensuite transmis les informations nécessaires.

The apartment itself was just fine: well-equipped, well-located, comfortable, and quite large.
If our stay in this apartment will be a bad memory, this is mainly due to the host's unprofessional handling of problems with the platform.
We booked the apartment for what seemed to be a good price, with the option to pay on site. The host contacted us 30 minutes prior to our arrival at the apartment. He indicated that Booking had made a mistake, and that the actual rent would be twice the amount that we had booked the apartment for.
As we were not ready to pay significantly more than what we had booked the apartment for, he announced that he would not let us in, and asked us to contact the Booking helpline. The helpline was friendly, but the process took more than two hours, during which we were standing in the freezing cold. Booking suggested that we move into a different nearby apartment, and they would refund us the additional cost.
During the booking process, the host called us again. It turned out that the alternative apartment was also his, and he refused to give us the key for the other apartment, too, as Booking would charge him for the price difference. After another call with the helpline, they offered another alternative stay, but located far away and less comfortable than our original apartment. We also felt bad knowing that the full extra-rent would be charged to "our" host. In the end, we agreed with the host to pay more rent, as we did not see any other solution.
The situation remained confusing even after our stay, when the host sent us a bill for the "real" rent (meaning: twice as much as on the Booking platform), and a confirmation of payment for the "original" rent, without any comment. We were a bit astonished, as the original deal had been to pay on site, but supposed the amount had been debited on my credit card - it turned out this was not the case.
