We had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and very traditional. The view is espectacular and the town is breathtaking. The owner is very attentive. He provided really good information about transportation and activities to do.

The location was beautiful and the house very spacious. It could easily sleep 6-10 people. The outdoor space is amazing and was a great place to hang out with friends to read, eat dinner, or drink a few beers. The views are not to be missed! You can see all of Jardin and the surrounding mountains from the house. During the week it was very quiet and peaceful. there is a cafe a short walk up the hill and a waterfall about 20 minutes away. During the visit the hosts were very communicative and helpful. They provided us with recommendations for vendors, tours, and transportation.

We had a very difficult time reaching the property for the first time. It is a 15 minute drive from the town and the Google maps directions led us the wrong way. We ended up down a dirt road in the dark and had to reverse up a hill. It was very dangerous. The hosts should be aware of this issue and provide maps before issue arrive. They were very helpful once we were already lost, but we could have avoided the whole issue with some additional support. Overall, the helpful tips we received came too late for them to be useful to us, especially as travelers from abroad who needed to plan things in advance. In addition, the property was not very clean – there were dead bugs and hairs on several of the beds. There were also no instructions for things including the hot water tank which needed to be switched on or how to use the stove which had a gas tank with it. These things require instruction. The neighbors were also quite loud on the weekend. Finally, the payment was a bit odd. We had to withdraw cash and deposit it to the host's account in town. I have never had a property require something like this.
