Not for us and we didn’t stay.

Secure place to store bikes, proximity to Bike Park Wales.

It was not for us. There were some issues with cleanliness of cupboards and dishes. The shower leaked and left a pool of water between lounge and bathroom. Owner acknowledged the issues but was initially unwilling to compensate us in any way and was actually quite rude to us. Booking was reduced from 2 to 1 night in the end, by when we’d decided the situation was too unpleasant to stay at all.

Great for a short weekend gateway

It is a self catering holiday home surrounded by beautiful views of Brecon Beacon national park. Short drive from most of the trails in the national park as well as shopping centre and restaurants.

Loved the bungalow, fantastic views very comfortable, lovely host.

The location was lovely and so was Gaynor. the bungalow was good clean and tidy.

Our only petty quibble was that we could not get the tv to work, but we were only there for 2 nights so didn1t need to watch it.

Amazing experience and totally worth it

The owner is an amazing lady, she helped us with many questions regarding the public transport situation near the property. She was very kind to us and was always in touch when needed and also helped us drop off our luggage on the first day.

# Location is great if you are visiting the Breacon Beacon Hills; # Apartment is private, clean and warm; # comfy bed

# WiFi didn't work for the entirety of the 3 day stay, with the host's only solution being to turn the router on and off. Needed internet for work. Bought 15£ wifi internet for a day, every day. # Shower door and soap/shampoo holder was broken; # No toiletries available/provided besides toilet paper; # Oven was making a loud rattling sound so we didn't use it and instead we had to microwave all our food. # toaster missing the main button # no condiments available, not even the basic salt and pepper, none the less cooking oil or kitchen towels The above wouldn't have bothered us too much, if it weren't for the high price paid. The establishment might have had the quality of a 4*, back in the day, however now, It's very lackluster. I wouldn't recommend, unless the price was 2/3 of what it is now.

Great location to explore the Brecon Beacons. Modern apartment with secure parking and extremely quiet in a residential area guaranteeing a great nights sleep. Effective heating and hot water so the place stayed warm during our stay.

The apartment could have done with a clean before arriving because there were signs of bugs and cobwebs in places.

A place to sleep, nothing more.

Good view. Close to retail park. Clean. Kitchen okay. Wifi okay.

It may have been decent a while ago, but it's living on faded glory. Showerhead rubbish Tiny fridge Sofas were tiny. Usually places like this will have a few bits and pieces in the kitchen that previous people have left behind: a few tea bags, cooking oil, salt, etc. Here, absolutely everything was stripped out.

Beautiful location as a base to explore South Wales and the Beacons. Retail parks near by very handy

Location was the main reason for my booking, as a lone traveller the cost was too high for me but necessary over the bank holiday weekend - very good value if travelling as a larger group. Facilities and kitchen are excellent, the host is lovely and very helpful. Wi-Fi does need an upgrade, and it would have been great to have had a small amount of tea/coffee/sugar available upon arrival as an inexpensive and welcoming touch. A lovely place to stay and the views are stunning from the upstairs Lodge we had - even with the new houses springing up around it - they also want the view!

Wi-Fi as mentioned, exit time at 10am is too early given the cost of the booking and afternoon check-in at 2pm. Could do with more local takeaway menus, map of the area and more locally relevant ‘places to visit / things to do’ pamphleted. Amazing location for both Zip and Bike Wales. And what’s the best local pub?

Cosy clean cabin fantastic views and lovely owner.

Sheets need to be updated and decor remodernised . The 2 twin beds are really tight and barely separated by a small bedside cabinet and room very small. Need to update sky TV equipment

The TV set up could do with upgrading as it is quite outdated. The sky box only showed 4 channels and the DVD player was loud when used. This is just some constructive feedback, other than this small thing the stay was absolutely fabulous x

Good base for exploring Brecon beacons and waterfalls. Relaxing location.

A lovely apartment, with spacious bedroom and bathroom. Single bed very comfortable. Pulll out bed for fourth person. Balcony with view, which unfortunately we couldn't use because of the rain. Very useful warm room available for drying off clothes and wet footwear. Friendly hostess. Unfortunately, the local Red Lion pub doesn't serve food, and the premier shop hasn't much stock, but Merthyr Tydfil is a short drive away for Wetherspoons and other pubs.
