Ilukketiya Tea Chalets

We loved the lush green nature vibe; and being in the middle of literally a jungle. It was just a peace of heaven, the sounds of the foliage rustling, the animals at night, night swims. It was perfect. The staff was incredible; so attentive, always ready to help, so pleasant and so kind. Everytime we returned to the property they would be there to welcome us at the gate. Breakfast was also great and the living room etc was really lovely.

The property is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The only thing that got us was lizards inside the chalets, they get in through cracks in the ceiling- but it’s an easy fix with proper sealing. However the staff was super helpful and attentive with getting rid of them when they did come up. We just found them a little unsettling.

Beautiful chalets, very comfortable stay and fantastic staff service. Loved the nature and wildlife that we were surrounded by, and the peaceful ambience. Perfect for a private and relaxing retreat away from noisy crowds.

It’s a little farther inland from the beaches and other restaurants, so can be slightly inconvenient to access food and entertainment outside of the property if you are not driving your own vehicle.
