The property was beautiful and had amazing views. It was clean, had plenty of space and nicely furnished. The property was also relatively easy to find and super close to Jiufen Old Street. The host was lovely and responsive as well.
The property is on the top of a hill meaning you have to walk up lots of steep stairs to get to it. This wasn’t an issue for us but if you have lots of luggage or are unable to walk up lots of stairs, you will struggle to walk to this property.

The room had a lot of amenities (small bathtub, projector screen, tea and bath salts) and a simple breakfast was provided.
Compared to the photos of the rooms and rave reviews, our room was not up to expectations. We didn't have a good view of Jiufen, the staff got the lockbox password wrong and we had to wait outside (humid and lots of mosquitoes in the summer!), and they don't take card payments. Communication is done through LINE or Instagram only. Given the price, we expected better.
