Global Luxury Suites at Georgetown

Clean, great location and all amenities needed. Highly recommend staying here in Georgetown for your trip to DC for affordability and convenience.

This property is right in the heart of Georgetown (two blocks from the Warf and one block from M Street) with wonderful restaurants and shopping in easy walking distance. Our 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for our stay with our grandsons and a perfect location to get to all the sites of the Capital. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions for things our grandsons might enjoy close by. This was our second stay at this property. Having discovered it last year when we were in town for a wedding, we would not think about staying anywhere else in DC.

Great location. Lovely staff. Well equipped.

Blinds were broken and even though we reported it they weren’t fixed so we couldn’t darken the room. Also check in was fiddly as we hadn’t been asked to give a credit card for security. But this meant when we arrived we couldn’t check in. Was very frustrating.

Location is excellent.

Reservation system is ridiculous in terms of request for personal information, likely because the business model is to remove as many staff as possible. Hotel room had bad smell that did not go away. Extremely barren decor, nothing like the pictures. I would call this brutalist techno bot, from start (reservations) to finish (room, which is essentially modern Motel 6). Bathtub was very old. Sonder has a very beautiful logo and beautiful pictures on its website - too bad that the hotel does not share the same aesthetics.
