I liked the situation of the shepherd's hut in the quiet countryside. The kitchen equipment was good with an electric kettle, tea and coffee supplied, plus fridge, toaster, microwave, electric hob, plates, mugs and all utensils. Tea towels, washing up liquid, cloths and scourer supplied too, which are too often missing. The convertible sofa/double bed was comfortable. The electric lights were cleverly designed to look like taps with jam jars over the spout...I couldn't figure them out to begin with! The window curtains were attractively arranged and there plenty little windows to let in the light. The handheld shower was just as I like it and there was hot water available for the sink and shower from an electric water tank underneath the bed. There was a wood burner with some wood and kindling supplied, though I didn't use it. There was also a small floor heater, which was on all the time to prevent dampness.
It didn't bother me much on my visit in October, but I think I would have needed a proper electric heater during the colder winter months. Tending to a woodburning stove would be a bit impractical when you are going to and from the hut during the day and also out for a period in the evenings. I came on my bike, so would not have been able to carry wood from a store. An electric oil-filled radiator would be much more practical in my opinion and would take up less space than the wood burner.

The location was great, the pre-arrival instructions were clear, and it was as described. I loved the peace and quiet - just me, and a horse in the next field. The shower was remarkably good once i worked out how to switch on the hot water.
No beers and crisps on arrival, as was detailed in the welcome information. Also the door to the hut didn't shut fully at the bottom so it was not possible to just have the top of the stable door open

Lovely peaceful location, easy to find via satnav , reasonably well equipped. We were attending a music festival at Easton Park Farm which was easy to get to. It was lovely to sit outside and listen to nature.
It would perhaps be easier to have the keys in a keysafe actually by the accommodation than having to go looking for them. My Internet connection was poor and I struggled to read the welcome email to find out where they were. The welcome email said there would be crisps and beer as a welcome gift but the pixies must have raided the hut!

Nothing much to be honest couldn't get in the hut for 30 mins as never received email how to get in the hut, had to get sorted out over the phone. Horrible smell like stagnate water around the place, stains on duvet, rust on the bottom of the water tap not very hygiene all round not impressed at all
So bad didn't even stay the second day went home and booked somewhere else.

Compact and warm. It didn’t get too cold overnight.
Just outside Framlington a lovely town. Pub 1/2 mile down the road.
Everything else was good. loved the little fire though only needed it on one of the nights. lovely Firepit/bbq outside and a picnic bench with sun brolly.
Great having basic essentials like soap dish washer liquid, salt n pepper and a few T-bags sugar and coffee.
A heated garden room was available to relax in with a table football plus board games with a garden sofa and chairs to chill on.
The hot water was far too hot -it needs adjusting. Fridge in cupboard need more ventilation.

very quirky, lovely location.
loved the burner ( defiantly needed)
bed very uncomfortable the mattress kept splitting apart, also pillows very flat you need two per person. could not stay any longer than a weekend due to having no storage place everything goes under the bed.

not clean enough, fridge not big enough and noisy

Lovely quirky place too stay. Very quiet, and everything there we needed. Close to fabulous village of Framlingham and well situated to explore
We had problem with locking the door as it had warped. Despite heating the water it was luke warm at best, and fridge needs some tlc as motor constantly running to try and keep it cool.

Great base for exploring Suffolk.
Pub in walking distance
The fridge wasn't working properly.
We rang up on the first night as it wasn't cold at all and were told it had only just been switched back on. It was a bit colder the next day but our mil had still gone off.
Maybe a new fridge is needed as it is definately a necessity to keep a few essentials cold.

The quietness, the horses in front of the hut, the furniture, the whole vibe of the place, very nice place to stay for a view nights!
On arrival (close to midnight) I had to 'repair' the toilette flush as a thing in the water tank obviously had come loose... it worked fine then throughout my stay.
It would have been very nice, if the warm water switch had been turned on by 'staff'.
The 'matress' is rather hard.
The price is too high, given there is no breakfast (which is fine, as there is everything in the kitchen you need to make your own!).

It was an own supply DIY bteakfast.
Welcome beer and crisps wae thorally enjoyed
Sunshine helped.
Good base for Framlingham and Sutton Hoo
'Cutlery ' was short of dessert spoons
More bowls please as more useful than plates - food stays hotter for longer.

Great cosy hut which is well laid out and perfect for a peaceful break. Wood burner great for cool evenings.
Not much to dislike except the door was difficult to lock/unlock and it would have been useful to have more glasses and some desert spoons.
