Lovely teak house and peaceful garden with spacious room and comfortable bed. A warm welcome by the owner who was an absolute gem. I had trouble with my flight booking and she helped me enormously to get a stand-by flight to Bangkok on the busiest day of the year - Lunar New Year. She really went out of her way to help me and I would have missed my flight out of Thailand if I had tried to manage it myself.
The location is very close to the airport and is good for a night stopover between flights. Which seemed to be what most other guests were doing. I was there for 4 nights so had to book transport to go out to eat and sight-seeing. There is very little in the way of dining options around. Once I got my transport apps organised, it was no big deal in the end.

Kiang was our hostess and she was marvelous. So kind & thoughtful, she picked us up at the airport and brought our family to Teak House. She made sure we were comfortable and was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp or this site. My 12 year old daughter took a particular liking to her and wants to already go back and see her! Kiang gave her a small souvenir at the end as they definitely had a sweet connection.
Everything was as advertised or better so I was very happy. We were only there one night and woke up early anyways but there are roosters nearby that wake up early too.

It’s a lovely place to stay, very nicely decorated, a beautiful garden - very serene. The hostess Kiang is just lovely, super accommodating, a lovely person. Will definitely stay here again.
