Gut Huthmacherhof is a great place to stay when in the area. We were visiting family and this was the closest and most appealing option. The host is wonderful and ensured we had a great experience. The room is exactly as presented in the pictures. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!

Well-appointed and inviting apartment within a beautiful old farming estate

This is a lovely place to stay, especially if you're traveling with dogs. The little apartment was comfortable, inviting, and clean. It's self-catering, so you have to come prepared food-wise, but it's well-appointed, modern, and quiet accommodation at a good price. It's also a working farm, with plenty of parking. I would happily stay there again!

Excellent location for a quiet and restful stay in the contryside.

We really liked the apartment we were given. It's clean, big enough, nice bathroom, with a basic kitchenette, everything we could need. The estate is very nice, in a very quiet and beautiful countryside location.

The communication with the host could be slightly easier. We ended up communicating via the available app which, allthough functional, was a little unfriendly.

Unbelievably clean, brand new. Easy check in. Lovely views. Great shower. Well heated. Tastefully decorated. Wine glasses were to my taste..I'm really choosy 😅 Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. There is a little shop in the barn where you can buy groceries. I forgot my charger, I could lend one the whole weekend. Netflix.. Coffee and tea etc provided. I would return

I waa disappointed I was placed on an upper floor. By the description I was led to believe we had our own front door. This was not the case, we shared a staircase and hall with 2 other rooms. This should be known.

Perfect house for a visit with friends to cycle or do some tracking.

A perfect location for biking and tracking the area of the Hoge Venen. Perfect house for staying with friends. Very committed host. Firewood was ready in the 'garden'. Four separate bedrooms (three with good beds). Visit the football club close to the house. Bathrooms are good.

The host was very friendly, the apartments are new and clean. There was everything as claimed in the website: kitchen with all necessary dishes, pans, a kettle and a fridge, free wifi and TV with Netflix, large and comfortable bed, very good and clean bathroom, large mirrors. There is a small shop in the house, space to leave a bike, a bus stop nearby.

Sehr schönes Anwesen mit freundlichem Gastgeber in super ruhiger Lage

Wir haben hier mit unserem Hund ein Wochenende verbracht und waren sehr überrascht von diesem tollen Anwesen. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig, die Ferienwohnung klein aber sehr fein, vollkommen ausreichend für 2 Nächte mit einem großen Hund. Der sehr freundliche Besitzer des Hofes hat uns prima Tipps zum Wandern und auch zum Essengehen gegeben. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, und sollten wir mal wieder eine Übernachtung in dieser Gegend benötigen, dann auf jeden Fall hier!

Das Gut liegt absolut ruhig. Man kann perfekt schlafen. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass mehr Tee und Kaffee zum Frühstück da gewesen wären.

Prima slaapplek voor 1 nacht voor ons.

Om onze motoren te stallen was er een prima plek om te parkeren, deze mochten binnen de poort staan. Alles was netjes schoon, goed voor elkaar. Voor onze doorreis was het goed om er een nachtje te pakken.

Het was jammer dat we er niks konden eten of drinken. Om te eten/drinken, moest je toch al 10 minuten rijden. De eigenaar gaf wel als tip om een afhaal menu te laten bezorgen.

Ruhige, beschauliche Lage mit ganz guter Ausstattung – aber fehlende Verdunklungsvorhänge/Rolos

Gut war die Lage, der nette Besitzer, die unkomplzierten Prozesse, das Bett war bequem, die Ausstattung war gut, es gab viel Stauraum, die Lage war sehr ruhig, auf dem Hof wurde nicht gelandwirtet o.ä.

Es gab keine Verdunklungsvorhänge, nur blickdichte, daher war es ab morgens um 4.30Uhr hell. Zudem waren vor den Fenstern Strahler, d.h. es war auch nachts vor den Fenstern hell.

Heerlijk verblijf tegen goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding

Mooie en rustige locatie op een boerderij tussen de weilanden en toch goed bereikbaar vanaf de snelweg. Vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar bij aankomst. Ontbijt moet je zelf verzorgen maar in Jülich zit een goede bakker waar je voor weinig geld heerlijk kunt ontbijten. Voor diner heerlijk en betaalbaar gegeten in de Biergarten van Restaurant Einhorn.

Idyllischer Ferienhof

Der Huthmacherhof liegt in einer idyllischen, ländlichen Umgebung und ist gut erreichbar. Von hier aus ist man schnell in Jülich, Düren, Köln oder Aachen. Herr Wehren hat uns sehr nett empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Er hat stets ein offenes Ohr. Die Ferienwohnung ist praktisch, gemütlich und rustikal eingerichtet. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt wieder kommen

Für Jülich eine Bereicherung. Wohnen ,Ruhe und nicht in der Stadt.

Wir sind eigentlich aus Jülich und mussten nur ein paar Tage hin. Darum war die Nähe zu Jülich 3km ideal. Das Appartement vollkommen neu eingerichtet. Alles super. Ich kann mir vorstellen für Familien mit Kindern mit Reitinteresse ganz tolle Ferien! Drei oder vier Reiterhöfe zu Fuß zu erreichen. Da kann man sich bestimmt informieren. Sophienhöhe zum Wandern auch fußläufig. Jülich als kleine Stadt und Supermärkte in fünf Minuten. Eifel und Köln halbe Stunde. Ganz prima. Wir sind Februar wieder dort aus familiaren Gründen.

Doppelbett mit einer Bettdecke-der Umstand ist für "ältere"Personen sehr schlecht.

Landlust, Bauernhof-Charme und Hunde willkommen - für uns perfekt!

Ein super schöner, sehr ländlich gelegener Gutshof mit viel Platz im Innenhof und netten Sitzgelegenheiten für sich und die anderen Gäste. Daniel ist ein sympathischer und greifbarer Gastgeber, der kleine Selbstbedienungsmarkt, genannt "Speisekammer", in der Scheune vor Ort hat eine Fahrt zum Einkauf für uns ersetzt. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und hübsch eingerichtet. Toll, dass Hunde erlaubt sind. Für unseren Aufenthalt war die Wohnung perfekt!

Tagsüber wurde die Wohnung im Obergeschoss sehr warm, wir hatten allerdings auch Außentemperaturen bis zu 33°C (Hitze pur!). Es gibt leider keine Geschirrspülmaschine (dafür ist die Küche aber auch definitiv zu klein) und der Gasherd ist wie beim Camping an eine Flasche angeschlossen. Auch gibt es kein Wohnzimmer. Es handelt sich um einen Raum mit Küche, Bett, Fernseher und Garderobe und einen weiteren Raum als Badezimmer. Wer also eine richtige Ferienwohnung mit mehreren Räumen zum längeren Verweilen erwartet, irrt sich. Die anderen Ferienwohnungen haben wir nicht gesehen, möglicherweise sind diese aber großzügiger geschnitten. Für unseren Aufenthalt war die Wohnung perfekt, wir waren sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs.
