The secret window on the river Arno

Location was fabulous. 2 mins walk to Ponte Vecchio. Lots of restaurants near by. Miki our host was also excellent. Miki met us at the property & showed us around & also kindly organised a taxi for us to get to the train station.

Strange noise at night from water pipes which always woke us up.

The location was beyond amazing, the property was clean and spacious, they had a washer and the bathroom looked like it was updated. The hosts also left an amazing packet of recommendations of what to do while in Florence which was extremely helpful.

can’t beat the location and the beds were comfy

this is not the place to stay if WiFi/cell phone service is important to you. Because its below ground level, there’s no cellular service. That would normally be ok if we had WiFi, but the WiFi was down 3 of the 5 nights we were there (and unstable the other nights). Was highly inconvenient considering I was planning to work in the evenings. I know it’s a provider issue and not the host, but just warning others as I wish we wouldn’t known before booking

Awesome location. Super close to the Uffizi and literally around the corner from the Ponte Vecchio. We walked across it every day. Also very spacious and comfortable. Also great amenities. Stove, Oven, washing machine, everything you could need. Windows opened onto the river. It was great. Host was also very understanding and accommodating. Cannot praise her enough. Would absolutely book this location again if we come back to Florence.

Very difficult to choose anything to nit pick. After our stay we had to walk a block to dump our trash, but that is just a part of living in Florence. Really that's it.
