Wonderful "eeErie" Halloween getaway

Great location for a weekend trip
The house is located in the heart of Erie and was very close to everything we wanted to see & do! We enjoyed meals at the home in the kitchen / dining area and we also played games and watched movies in the living room. The house is really old and it definitely shows, but it has the potential to be a truly beautiful property if well maintained.
Stairs leading up to the front door entrance are in very bad shape. We arrived late at night to check in and almost fell down due to the condition. Landscaping not done around property does not make it very inviting. We would have loved to spend some time outside in the backyard but the grass was overgrown and needed cut.

Great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood.
The house is old so it has some really cool classic details but is updated enough to make sense for the modern traveler.
There was nothing I didn’t like. I went to Erie primarily for the beaches so if I were to give it one negative, it would be the distance from the water.
