The property is in a good location with parking and the beds were comfortable.

The property owner really needs to view the property before new guests arrive. We arrived very late and there were no lights, a fuse had blown and we had to search the house for the fuse board. When we looked around the property we found the main bedroom window was broken so we were not able to close it for our entire stay. The road is noisy and so we didn’t sleep well! The house didn’t have any toilet paper at all, leaving at 1 roll would have been a courteous thing to do. There wasn’t anyway to light the gas stove and there were no forks! The garden needs attention. There was a washing machine but nowhere to put anything out to dry. The owner really needs to go stay there themselves to experience it before allowing anymore guests to stay there.

Window in.one room was totally broken and wouldn't close road is busy so very noisy Could be cleaned cob webs everywhere, skirting boards filthy and bathroom could of been cleaner, tried to contact someone about window number didn't exist and no reply to email.

Nothing.. was able apart from we made of our weekend for my daughters 16th birthday- nothing to do with the accommodation

The house was far from luxurious as they kept throwing that word around in your face .. when we arrived at 7pm the cleaner was just leaving the house didn't smell of a freshly cleaned home. There was a empty bottle of alcohol left on the table in the living area. There cutlery cuboard had 2 spoons an forks. Yet a big dinning table. The house was dusty and smelt of damp. I got intouch with the host a week before arrival asking if we could check out later as we wasn't arriving till 6pm and I have a child with servere disabilitys so It would make it easier for me to get her sorted and out but they refused to responds to all 3 msgs I had left. The sofa bed and bedding was filthy and grubby like it had never been clean when we moved a sofa to get my daughters wheel chair round the underneath of the sofa space had old toys books an loads of rubbish so its just being surface cleaned to the eye .. thick dust on the skirts and windows. It just felt grubby we was rally disappointed as this was our first time using booking.com and we've had a awful experience. And then after the host decided to ignore my msgs regarding if I could check out later as checking in was late evening due to the circumstances with my daughter being a wheel chair user an having complex needs.. the host was sending me links to help with a go fund for his brother who had adhd and had commit suicide. I am sorry for his loss but I found it disgusting how my daughters needs had been ignored but then I'm getting asked to help with a go fund for his brother who had a disability id have thought somone being in a situation like that it would be close to their heart to help a mum In need out but I just got ignored.

There was lots of space at the property and the garden was great for the dogs

The cleaner was still at the property when we arrived at 3.20pm, even though we replied to the email asking what time we would check in and told them between 3pm and 4pm. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, there was no toaster, the oven was dirty, there was no blind at the landing window and the bathroom window couldn't be opened. A very tired property which needs some tlc and a thorough deep clean.

The property was unclean, when the main shower was on it leaked through the ceiling into the kitchen and the main bed did not have a sheet on it. I emailed and messaged about these issues and there was no response.

Bathroom leak, no one came to fix it Several reminders sent to owner no response no body cares Wasted my money without proper facilities that was promised.

The location was ideal for our needs The beds were amazingly comfortable The property was of a good size and value for money Property was clean to a good standard

These are minor issues that can be sorted to make the accommodation even better There was no toilet roll on arrival to the property kitchen utilities i.e. pans were minimal freezer did not work fridge had a broken shelf We were unable to manually turn the heating down or up to match our needs so at times it was uncomfortably hot and other times extremely cold

Cozy house great parking. Beds super.comfy and there are plenty of facilities such as smart tv. Location was great right near a small shop butchers a few pubs and the bus stops right outside. Communication with the.owner good great value accommodation

The freezer was not working but I didn't need it. The recycling from previous renters was still in the small recycling bins which I moved myself. Couldn't find the instructions for the oven but got it working ok. Very noisy road but can't be helped as it's a.main.road into town. No toilet roll on arrival but we get our own. One of the rooms only has one large and.one small towel for two people but not the end of world. Had to shop for tea and coffee ect also washing up.liquid as nothing in.the house.to.welcome us or to start the break but again not a big deal just mentioning as people may not bring their own. For the price over new year it's not a complaint just a little.info for future stays

NOTHING - TOTAL SCAM AND NIGHTMARE!

We arrived at Crowtree from a long drive down from Kent at around 3pm, A check in time that we had already agreed with the property. On arrival we noticed that we wasn't sent any check in details. We called the telephone numbers that were available to us a numerous amount of times that were just ringing through. At this point, it was getting on to 3:30pm and still no answer from the owners about the lockbox code to collect the keys. We finally got through to Bookings.com who were trying to contact the property owners their side and still no luck. But they were able to tell us the code for the lockbox which should have a set of 2 keys. One for the front door and the other for back door. Once we got into the lockbox there wasn't any keys!!! it was empty!! The Bookings.com team said they have given the property owners 45 minutes to respond. If they don't, they will cancel our booking. At this point it was starting to get dark and we had been waiting outside the property for nearly 2 hours with a young child. Thankfully we had a vehicle to sit in as it was freezing outside. After the 45 minutes, we get a notification to say. "Unfortunately, CrowTrees informed us that they can no longer accommodate you due to." That was it. That's all we got from them!!! I then had to find an alternative accommodation for my family for 5 people last minute for the weekend! I want to add that when we arrived at the Crowtree house, there were full bins left outside both entrances., fag ends everywhere. And looking through the window into the kitchen. It looked filthy. There were crumbs left all around the sink. We are now VERY thankful we didn't have to stay at this property as it looked depressing and dirty. I want to warn anyone who is planning on booking this property or any other properties that is owned by Twiig Ltd or 'Tom' to stay well away. Thankfully, Bookings.

Off road parking

The property is very tired and in need of a refurb. Whole place smells of damp and stale smoke. Beds uncomfortable - mattress totally past it. The place felt dirty and as mentioned previously smelt stale. Didn’t want to put my children down.

Nice house in good location for Visiting places Leeds, Manchester etc. Plenty of space and beds were really comfortable. Off street parking was a good.

Getting in and out of driveway was a bit stressful as road was quite busy

The house was convenient for visiting family, was very clean comfortable and had everything we needed.

It is a very nice property that was very clean and comfortable, Tom always answered phone calls and was a generally a nice easy going host to talk to. If you need to stay in the area you cannot go wrong by booking in here.

Perfect for our family if 4 adults and 2 Children. great kitchen dining area.

The property was spacious and had a large gated driveway.

unfortunately the garden was overgrown with bushes and trees the grass needed attention. There was dog poo left in the garden that had clearly been for some time. The house itself needed a good clean the kitchen cupboards were filthy and so was the oven. It was disappointing as the house was furnished to a high standard but the maintenance of the showers etc was very poor with brown rotting grouting. I have 2 dogs who could not be left in the garden to play without being supervised due to the state it was in and the outside lighting was not working.

Location is fab and property was very comfortable. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise on arrival. Bedrooms clean and tidy and living space set up superbly.

Only tip is that they could do with putting some hooks around, possibly on backs of doors to hang wet towels etc. As there is no hanging space in rooms for luggage, hooks would help and mirrors in bedrooms would also help.

clean, spacious and great value for money. i arrived to the property to find a hamper with bread,eggs, chocolate and wine. Not to mention the toiletries and condiments available for use!

it’s not that I didn’t like it but I had my dog for the stay but didn’t have a gate to keep her in and secure which made me nervous as the garden led onto the drive which was then onto a main road.

Spacious downstairs. All very clean and well set up on arrival.

Kitchen lacked oven trays, ensuite bathroom door didnt close, main bedroom mattress was too soft (personal choice i know), ensuite shower not very powerful, main bedroom Tv didnt work for tv or amazon firestick. Vehicle noise from main road outside went on all night.
