Grange de la Herde

Room was lovely as was the bathroom. It was an old building with a lot of history. Had secure parking in the courtyard

It was a bit of a challenge getting all our luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was ok

Very friendly and helpful host. The breakfast was excellent including local produce and was very nicely presented. The location worked very well with access to Amiens along the canal tow path using the bicycles provided by the host. Many good restaurants in Amiens and local restaurant L'Auberge des Hortillonnages was superb.

Nothing I would want to see changed.

The quietness and the nice garden. Also the floating garden is around the corner, which is really nice. You can borrow a bike and cycle to the Notre dame of Amiens in about 15min.

Very clean and comfortable, little oasis behind the doors! Lovely kitchen downstairs to help yourself with making your own meals/coffee and this is where breakfast was provided. Breakfast was delicious. Owners were very helpful, provided a washing machine in another room to do our laundry! Being from Australia our French is nil and they tried to speak as much English as possible to give advice about the area and some tourist attractions such as the Cathedral light show and boats for the floating gardens. Plenty of free car parking out front too. 2km walk to town, lovely path along the waterway/gardens.
