We had an amazing stay at the property. It was very clean fully equipped and was very comfortable.

Keys were held in a lock box, the code had been forwarded to us previously. We were also met by the proprietor on arrival, a very nice touch.

Everyone one of us had a lovely break away

The hosts were lovely and very helpful, Thank you. The property was amazing and equipped with everything as stated. The garden area is a bonus too. The Convenience store, Fish shop and a pub is only a few minutes away. There are some lovely coves not too far away but you need to get there early to get parking space. Dartmoor Zoo was good and the play areas adds to the day, staff there are very helpful. We will definitely be booking to stay at The Retreat@Old Smithy again.

Really lovely place to stay. Very good value. Would have stayed longer if I could.

Lovely little place. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Has everything you need for a short stay. Immaculately clean and very homely. Had a great weekend in Plymouth.

Mattress in the green room has seen better days so not the best sleep. Location was good but a bit out of town so maybe highlight transport information for guests. We found it difficult to get a taxi into town.

Best find in Plymouth.

It was clean, local to the Plymouth life centre, town and shops. It was great to have a comfortable home after a busy day at the pool. Home from home and be with the family and friends. 10/10. Service was fab.

7 of us stayed. All.loved everything but me, my preference is a hard matress mine was soft. But thats just me trying to find something.

The house looked exactly like in the pictures. Every room was spotless and with enough storage space. Good size living room and the kitchen was fully equipped, with multiple options for coffee and tea. The fact that the property has 2 parking space, it makes it even better.

I don't think I have anything to dislike about the house.

great location - the house was immaculate and beautifully presented.

a washing machine would be handy there was no downstairs loo in the bathroom - but there were 2 upstairs the house was lovely and warm, but the downstairs bathroom was very cold. I'm sure it would be fine in warmer weather
