The Good Life Wales with Hot tubs

Our stay at the beehive was exactly what we needed. The property is secluded and quiet. We were lucky to have great star gazing conditions on our first night. The location was perfect for us and our explorations - we did the waterfall walk and hiked up Pen y Fen. The hot tub was very much appreciated after these adventures. Debbie & Roger were both very friendly and gave us a run through of the property and how to use its facilities ☺️ The outdoor space is lovely, we were blessed with good weather but there is shelter outside to sit in the rain too and take in the local wildlife. The property is exactly as seen in the photos so if you want a quiet, secluded, rustic stay with incredibly comfortable beds then we recommend ☺️ 💫

Absolutely perfect location, very Cosey and comfortable and we slept so well, very very relaxing. Hosts were lovely and we had everything we needed, nice to experience a log burning hot tub for the first time.

We were a little disappointed with the overall cleanliness due to left over fly catchers but nothing that would put us off staying again as we know why they were there, hot tub was nice to experience but this type is not for us.

The host, Debbie was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Also very reassuring knowing that we could with a text contact her if we needed anything or have any questions. The house was super clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, and more. The view was breathtaking, and waking up to the sounds of beautiful bird songs you don't hear in the city. Very quiet and peaceful. Before we arrived we had excellent communication with Debbie to guarantee that when we arrived, everything was ready for us. Definitely a gem of a place to escape to. P.s The water tastes amazing! 🩷

Even though the privacy was excellent, I was thinking our cabin was on its own, but that is probably just a misunderstanding on my side when I booked. Just a suggestion would be maybe more of the fleece throws/blankets as I found the two indoor blankets on the sofa a bit scratchy. I'd also rather suggest an L-shaped sofa in the lounge rather than what there is atm. Coffee table could be smaller if space is a problem. Extra fan for downstairs also a suggestion. None of these comments or suggestions are said in a negative way as the place is gorgeous and very much appreciated 🩷

The area was absolutely beautiful, the scenery was so calm, it was Lovely.

I thought the property could have been cleaner, there was cobwebs, dead flies and the general cleanliness wasn’t 100%. I think the amount charged for the stay it should be spotless! From the time we got there I felt like I was at school, when we arrived there were small lanes, enough for only one car. We were really unsure of the road and when another car approached we waited for them to reverse back, when we passed her she wound the window down to give abuse. When we arrived at the property Roger was very kind, however he had a phone call from his wife and we heard the conversation about telling us that next time we come up to a car in the road, we are to reverse as she was a neighbour ( not sure how we were to know.) The hot tub didn’t seem clean so on the Sunday I asked if it could be cleaned, it was really slippery and smelt like stagnant water. The owner said it’s not normally cleaned after 2 days but she would this once, she told us we had broken the cup holder on the hot tub, this was already like this on arrival! When we came back from being out the owner came and said I was not to put anymore logs on the burner as apparently We were told this on Friday and She seen from her kitchen that we had put another log on. We did as it wasn’t the temperature we wanted and Roger had told us how to go about doing it etc…. She then went on to say she feels like she’s teaching me to suck eggs!! I feel She was rude and not very kind.
