The room is beautifully decorated and spacious. The property itself is so huge with lots of activities. From the hotel, you can see beautiful scenery .

The dinner at the hotel should be improved, we want to dine in the hotel every night, but the food taste quite blended.

Umbria - a memorable stay

Amazing location. Excellent and welcoming staff. Quality and variety of options at breakfast was great and the lunch menu and food was wonderful. We did not have dinner at the hotel. Spa was great and the team in the spa is helpful and informative.

Umbrian Bliss!

From the wax sealed rosemary sprig on the handwritten welcome note and the lavender patterned plates - both of which mimic the herb hedges across the property, to the bookmatched marble shower walls and the curated spa experiences - no detail has been overlooked at this fairytale property. The staff (especially Ilaria) are kind, polite and attentive. Scattered seating areas across the immaculate grounds welcome privacy, reflection and relaxation. Sunset views are incredible. At Borghi dell’ Eremo, luxury standards and natural surroundings are in pure harmony. This is the Italy of your dreams.

A place that feels you special

Overall it’s an amazing place, it feels like you are in another world, staff is very kind and helpful. Our room was perfectly clean and they always surprise you with small things.

Only a minor point to improve is that the heat of pool water could be a bit higher.

This property was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed ever, it was magical!!

This property was unbelievable! It felt like you were in a storybook setting. Every detail was unique and special. The staff and all the special touches were noticed and appreciated. We were so sad to leave.

The bed made a lot of noise when you got in and out of it and it was a little tight in the space, BUT it was actually comfortable.

Borghi dell'Eremo was absolutely fantastic. Incredible property - feels like a magical oasis. Quiet, calming, peaceful - the perfect end to an Italy trip. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The grounds are beautiful - a buzzing ecosystem with flowers, birds, bees... gorgeous rooms, great views, amazing pool, nice spa.

Be prepared to drive ~1++ mile through bumpy dirt back roads once you enter the gate. Property is absolutely worth the haul, but be prepared.

Everything, starting with the location and very comfortable rooms. But also the quiet surroundings. A great place to disconnect and enjoy your holiday. Breakfast was very good and do not forget to use the in house restaurant for dinner! And last but not least: the staff. Very friendly, always ready to help. Especially Ion, thank you for taking such good care of us. We can highly recommend this hotel!

The overall experience being in the property is very immersive. Being in the heart of Umbria countryside and at the same time being able to enjoy great food, delicious wines while relaxing at the swimming pool was priceless.

The place is mervellous. A paradise at the border of Umbrie and Toscana. The facilities are perfect for a perfect stay. The restaurant is really a gastro one with accessible prices. The pool is a wonderful place to read and take advantage of the landscape. Perfect place to discover Umbrie and its treasures. Less known as Toscano but nothing to envy!

I stayed for one night only and I wish I stayed more

the pictures don't do the place any justice, it exceeded my expectations and blew my mind. the property and the views were amaaazing. the suite was amazing but what I enjoyed most was the fresh air of the mountains, the calmness and the sounds of nature, make sure to watch the sunset because it was breathtaking. The staff were super polite and nice, especially Nick.

the property is high up the mountain so making a trip down to the town to get food will be a bit of a hustle, it's better if you bring your own food as the property's restaurant is only fine dining and has lots of seafood options so it doesn't cater to nonseafood lovers.

Beautifully built place with really nicely equipped rooms. Well-looked after garden and breathtaking views to the Umbrian countryside. A pet-friendly, adults-only place with extremely attentive staff. Location is perfect if you wish to disconnect as it's literally in the middle of nowhere, yet there are many nice small cities and villages within reach by car.

Breakfast selection was nice, although it could have used some more variety. Á la cart dinner menu is rather short, albeit dishes are decent. Reaching the the property from the main road takes quite some dirt roading, which may be an issue with certain cars.

La struttura è immersa nella natura rigogliosa dell’Umbria e il parco è curato nei minimi dettagli. Le camere sono pulite, i letti comodi e nessun dettaglio è lasciato al caso. La spa è molto bella e funzionale, con un’atmosfera intima e accogliente. Il servizio massaggi è di livello molto alto. Ottima la colazione. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile a soddisfare l’esigenze del cliente.La pace e il relax regnano sovrani.
