Agriturismo I Frati

La struttura è stupenda. È un monastero di fine 400 su una collina vista lago Trasimeno. Immersa in un paesaggio ed un giardino incantevole e curato in tutto. Ne fanno una struttura prediletta per le cerimonie. Una piscina ben attrezzata fa da ottima soluzione per la calura estiva. Una colazione favolosa servita nel chiostro da personale gentilissimo.

I monasteri si sa, erano posti per pregare nella pace della natura lontani dalle amenità per cui non è pratica come posto da cui spostarsi per visitare il circondario. Essendo struttura essenzialmente da cerimonia credo sia molto difficile soggiornare nei fine settimana. Le camere ricostruite secondo vincoli della sovrintendenza per qualcuno possono risultare poco fruibili o migliorabili. L' insonorizzazione è minima perciò si deve fare conto sulla buona educazione degli a altri ospiti, che noi abbiamo trovato abbastanza. Le camere sono comunque fornite del giusto. Caffè, Acqua, frigo due fornelli ma giusto per la tisana.

Beautiful place and almost magical with a real Wishing Well. Love it. It was a last min trip. Decided one day before and we booked the trip. All the reviews were real. The place was amazing with an incredible view of Lake Trasimeno. The apartment was huge and there was a living room and a kitchen. we didn't use it but I believe it is a fully equipped kitchen. Pity their restaurant was closed due to preparation for a wedding. Everything was great.

wifi was slow

A beautifully restored historical building. Spotlessly clean apartment, comfortable and well equipped . Typical Italian breakfast with delicious homemade cakes , fruit , yoghurt etc . A fantastic evening meal cooked by Claudia giving us an Umbrian experience in food and drinks . Patricia who welcomed us and looked after us with Claudia and recommended areas to visit. Their kindness and hospitality was exceptional.
