The apartment was very comfortable and the living room area was very nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped. and we were able to cook some nice meals. We liked the large dining table that we could all sit round to eat / play games.

We felt that the staircase on the loft bedroom would be risky for younger children however we were a party of adults so that was okay. Some playing cards / games in English would have been great.

Modern and very comfy apartment. Ideal for 2 families of 4. Walking distance to town to access the bakery in the morning! Amazing views of the mountains.

The staircase to access the upper floor might not be suitable for very small children.

The chalet itself was very well decorated and comfortable, the beds were very comfy, kitchen facilities were good, and I appreciated how sociable and easy to use the open plan kitchen/diner/living space was. The town, once you reached it, was also wonderful with great restaurants.

We arrived quite late at night - I’d already been told by the owner that the keys were accessible by lockbox but the host also insisted on meeting us at the parking place, but were then very rude when we met them. After parking the car they showed us the route to the chalet (the same route shown in the information previously emailed to me by the owner). The route was approx 50 metres and the path wasn’t really a pathway at all and would be difficult for young children/the elderly. We got the keys, all was well. The next day when walking to the car a very upset French lady approached us, and it transpired that the path we’d been told to use by both the owner and host was actually private property attached to her house. She explained that every time a new guest comes to the chalet, the same thing happens again but the owner/host never does anything different (there was indeed a private property/no access sign that we’d not noticed the night before in the dark). We were very apologetic, and informed the owner, asking how we could now best access the chalet. It took the best part of the day to receive a reply, and in the meantime we had to walk down the bottom of the hill from the car to then take a different route back up to the chalet, on very steep roads (again, difficult for young children or the elderly/disabled, and difficult for us with a baby. This route took about 20 minutes). We were eventually told we could move the car to the owner’s garage besides the chalet. I find it hard to believe that the same situation won’t be repeated again with future guests also being told to us private pathways.
