Pokolbin Farm Stay

Amazing spot very quite and tranquil. The afternoon we had kangaroos roaming and the next morning the friendly cows were of very close vicinity. The view was amazing the location easy to get to and close to wineries with winery on the property . Would have been amazing if we had a fire place too just to chill next otherwise aircon in the villas were fine for heating.

It had everything we needed to chill and do nothing watching the animals near by and an amazing view of the mountains and the valley

Shower floods bathroom, bathroom tap loose, back door lock poor.

Fantastic location for looking around wine country. We were the only ones staying at the time so it was quiet and private

The photos are not a true representation of the room. If all the accommodations were occupied it would not be private so not really a farm stay. It’s on a farm but that’s the only farm but.

Very beautiful interior and modernised bathroom. Large TV was a bonus. Coffee pods, instant coffee and sugar sachets for use. Nice and clean inside.

Upkeep of the outside area was very minimal. Booking.com listing said there were bbq facilities, we had arrived with steak to cook and when we had called the owner she just told us to go find takeout or somewhere else to cook our food. I had texted her 3 times before arrival (including 1 day prior to stay) to ask about how to get in and where the villa was, and once to ask about the bbq. She made no effort to respond, we had someone at a local winery call her to send us our info. And on calling her the second time, it was very hopeless. Although the place was beautiful, it was very deceptive. The photos shown to us on booking showed what is know as “the milk shed”. No photos of the exterior of the actual villas we stayed in. And as we double checked their website, realising we paid the relative amount for the milk shed. Really felt like a scam.
