Comfortable & relaxing apartment in ideal location

Great location, short walk to Plage du Bestouan, walking distance to beautiful Calanque du Port Pin and 25 min walk to the harbour / village centre. Clean, comfortable apartment with nice pool / jacuzzi area, and great view from the terrace and front rooms. Michel was very friendly and helpful.

The sea view was great and the appartment was spacious.

It wasn't clean; there were ants everywhere in the house and the pool wasn't cleaned in a while. Moreover, the kitchen was not well equipped.

A lovely stay, in a wonderful location. We would come back.

The location was perfect. 15 minute walk to the nearest cafes and beach. 20-25 minutes to the port. We loved sitting at the patio table out the front, with the glimpse of the sea and Cap Canaille. The kitchenette and living room is very comfortable, light and airy. Just one small sofa, which was fine for two people but could have been crowded if a family of four. But you don't expect to spend much time indoors in Cassis. The hosts live on the premises, but upstairs with a separate entrance, so you barely see them. Michel was very friendly on our arrival however. He also supplied us with free parking on the street. The swimming pool was beautifully clean. Just remember your mosquito repellent!!

The main bathroom had a shower attachment only, it wasn't fixed to the wall above the bath, so couldn't be used as a proper stand up shower. A small thing that can be easily remedied so you have two fully usable bathrooms. Two of us ended up sharing the one ensuite shower, which wasn't ideal, but ok for two friends. A shame the BBQ wasn't near the seating or swimming pool area. That meant we didn't use it. It would be amazing if the jacuzzi was heated, but it was same temperature as the pool, just with bubbles. It is described on booking.com as a Hot Tub, which isn't the case. I have since seen a Q on booking.com suggesting the pool and jacuzzi COULD have been heated, for an additional daily cost, but this wasn't explained to us on arrival so we missed out on the heated jacuzzi! The walk to centre villa involved narrow pavement or no pavement, so could have been tricky with small children, but again, was fine for adults. A decent walk with an uphill/downhill. Decent mobility required. The property is described as air conditioned - note there is just one a/c unit in the living/dining room. Not in the bedrooms, where you would need a fan if hot. The description on booking.com mentions a bar and casino at the property, which isn't the case. These amenities can be found nearby and in the town.

Très bon séjour en famille à Cassis

Très bon accueil par les propriétaires, très sympathiques et serviables. Le logement magnifiquement bien situé, la vue incroyable. Quartier paisible. Bonne literie, 2 salles de bain très appréciable une famille. Très jolie terrasse, un jardin typique du sud avec piscine originale et le tout propre avec goût.

Très déçu que le spa ne fonctionne pas à notre arrivée, en panne. Poêles de cuisine collaient ( à la cuisson ) et les lampes de chevet dans une chambre ne fonctionnaient pas.

Décevant par la qualité des prestations , propreté à revoir, literie sale, ( sommier , linge de toilettes , oreillers)

L emplacement proche du parc des calanques et la vue mer depuis l appartement .

Le logement bénéficie d’une belle vue et d’un emplacement proche du parc des calanques mais plusieurs aspects du descriptif sont à revoir. ( distance du centre ville à pied, distance de la mer, jacuzzi) On ne peut pas se baigner en toute sécurité dans la mer à proximité, et la piscine est non sécurisée et son carrelage extérieur est extrêmement glissant même très dangereux, le spa est un bain à relou et non jacuzzi, l’éclairage ne nous a pas été expliqué afin de se baigner en soirée malgré notre sollicitation, et avec des journées plus courtes sur cette fin août ça aurait été agréable. L’avant de l’appartement ne bénéficie pas d’éclairage extérieur sur la table du repas, afin de profiter de la terrasse, ils nous a été proposé mais pas donné. Les espaces autour de l’appartement sont tout de même très bricoler et peu safe comme à l’image des prises électriques 220v non loin de la piscine. L’espace à côté de la piscine n’est pas forcément en super état pour en profiter. L’appartement est fonctionnel mais vétuste par plusieurs critères. La climatisation ne couvre qu’une seule pièce et ne parvient pas à rafraîchir l’ensemble des chambres, le ventilateur proposé n’a pas été fourni. La literie, le linge de maison et certains équipements (aspirateur, serviettes, barbecue) mériteraient d’être remplacés, et nettoyer tel que les sommiers des enfants. Les sanitaires sont aussi à revoir et d’autres espaces plutôt précaires comme l’espace barbecue qui est à côté des poubelles et des arbres. On note aussi une forte odeur d’humidité dans la deuxième chambre du fait que la maison soit peut être enterrée. Attention à ne pas fermer les volets car vous seriez porter responsable de l’humidité de la maison. Le parking est adapté seulement à une petite voiture, en arrivant on a essayé de nous faire comprendre que nous ne pouvions pas nous garer dans l’espace prévu avec notre van, pas de local vélo comme on nous avait répondu par message.

Belle expérience

Très bel endroit. Les hôtes sont adorables, très serviables et très discrets. La belle petite piscine est à l'usage exclusif lorsque nous louons l'appartement, ce qui est très appréciable et très rare, surtout à Cassis dans ce quartier. L'appartement est spacieux et la climatisation fonctionne très bien. On peut garer une petite voiture dans la cour de la maison, et ca c'est super pratique. Très bon séjour, belle expérience.
