Great location. Walked to everything.

Property is located on a pedestrian street only and on a hill. Getting in and out with luggage is tricky.

Situato in una stradina caratteristica del centro storico di Sarteano (paese in posizione strategica per visitare gli splendidi borghi della Val d'Orcia e della Val di Chiana), la struttura ha origini molto antiche (è infatti nel circuito delle dimore storiche, essendo stata la casa natale di Papa Pio III, nato nel 1439 e Papa nel 1503), ma è stata ristrutturata assai di recente: conserva l'atmosfera del passato, ma è dotata di tutti i confort per rendere molto gradevole il soggiorno. Gentilissimi i proprietari, ottima la colazione, curata personalmente dalla signora.

Da segnalare, soprattutto per gli ospiti con qualche limitazione dei movimenti, che la struttura non è dotata di ascensore (aggiungerei ovviamente, dato che è in un palazzo antico): alle camere si accede solo attraverso delle scale, nella prima rampa piuttosto ripide.

The palazzo is a beautiful and charming property. The historic building has been sympathetically restored and our room was very comfortable. Casually elegant. I love it when properties have books to read too! Chiara was a lovely host. She cooked amazingly good breakfasts. I am still dreaming of her home made croissants!! Next time we’d arrange to take a cooking course with her. She & her brother have created a great place with warm cozy vibes. I have to mention the bathroom. Fabulous!! Both a shower and a luxurious tub. 💕 Everything about the palazzo was in good taste and scrupulously clean. The palazzo is steps away from the piazza. Restaurants in easy walking distance.
