Jäger's Landhaus Rössle

Gutes Hotel für ein paar Nächte an zentraler Lage in der Altstadt. Sehr sauber, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und ein gutes Restaurant mit lokaler Küche. Sogar einige Parkplätze im Hof hinter dem Haus, was angesichts der Innenstadtlage nicht selbstverständlich ist.

Nichts.

Breakfast was excellent, local in style, and plentiful. The room was clean and well-equipped, and quirky as to be expected in an old building in the centre of the village. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the owner made us feel at home, even though our German is very basic. The younger serving staff have excellent English and helped with understanding the evening restaurant menu, which is a range of traditional German dishes served with recommendations from the owner's range of wine from his own vineyards. The serving areas include the traditional bar area, the vaulted Keller below, or the courtyard and covered areas outside.

Just be aware that in rural Germany, the shops and cafes often have limited opening hours, especially from mid-day on Saturday until Monday or Tuesday morning. So plan for your lunches accordingly.

Sehr gute regionale Küche, perfekte Hausmannskost.
