The hotel itself had personality and the artwork reflected local history nicely (although there was no English information about it). The bed was comfortable and we were able to get a good night's rest. With a short notice (we booked the same day), we were able to get a full vegetarian breakfast. The staff was courteous, and while they had only limited English, it was enough to get everything sorted.
The shower was a bit smelly, and the hotel has obviously seen its golden days long ago. While the room was otherwise fine and of standard quality, it felt really overpriced. This was indicated also by the fact that we seemed to be the only guests despite the fact that we were there at the height of the summer holiday season.
