Fresh and clean house in a colonial style where I felt at home. Rooms are spacious enough with air conditioner, working table and own toilet/shower. There is also a shareable kitchen, big dining/hall, power generator and even a small gym. House is situated at some distance from the main road, so area is quite and tranquil. However, beach, groceries and cafes are easily accessible by bike. Very hospitable and sincere family made everything for our comfort.
My only complain that I couldn't stay for longer time :)

we had a very nice holliday in El Niwasa relaxed red books very helpfull staff clean rooms fresh delicius food from Priyanthi hope to come again

El-Nivasa has a very good natural environment and easy access to the beach.The location was free of disturbance except for occassional dog barks.In the afternoon I was able to see some wonderful peacocks.The Sri Lankan breakfast provided was excellent.It is a very close proximity to Mirissa where there were whales.The room ,gym and internet facikities were excellent.
