Great view, clean place and Komarna is a beatiful place

The place was hard to find and we didn’t have any information how to reach staff as the reception was closed. It was the end of season and the staff was so hard to reach. The place was missing a blanket, dish washer was broken, no information about the wifi and the toilet had broken light but we couldn’t reach anyone. No toilet paper or cleaning supplys

The apartment was completely neglected and dirty, with insects and bugs. the lights were flickering and flashing. the toilet was completely dirty the dishes were all greasy The bedsheets smelled.

Basic Apartment with nice view close to the beach.

Very close to the sea. Kitchen living we're big enough with a beautiful view. Good TV.

Electricity kept on tripping off. To cook something we needed someone to hold the main switch on. All three bathrooms had leaking showers, the bathroom flooded with water every time someone had a shower, and there wasn't a Squeezer or something to wipe away the water with. There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. The apartment needs some maintenance and basic amenities.

Health hazzard as A/C unit has fungus and spored and was not serviced ever!

Only half decent thing about it is location, but even that is questionable as there is like 100 stairs and there is dozen of A/C units and in summer heat with all those exhausts from A/C units its like walking through hell to be honest!

Its a long list and as I have traveled a lot and stayed in many properties this one is by far the worst! Starting from staff, they don’t answer to messages and even if you call its impossible to reach them. Property is listed that has air conditioning unit, but when I turned it on after some time I started noticing allergy symptoms, itchy throat and nose and a mild cough. It felt suspicious and I inspected A/C unit and what I saw was awful and alarming! Inside there were spores growing and fungus literally! That is clear health and safety hazard which can cause some serious health issues and complications. I tried to contact host to get another room but nothing happened no answer. I was unable to sleep whole night and was forced to sit on balcony as inside room it was unbearable without A/C! After sleepless night I gave it another few hours and I still didn’t get any respond nor help from host so I was forced to leave accommodation as it was impossible for me to stay in there. So I have paid for 2 nights and I was able to stay just one night and next morning I went out on the beach to have some sleep before I went on the road! So basically I paid for accommodation and at the end I had to sleep outside which is nuts! Be aware of this accommodation and host. I will also ask for full refund a d will see how that will go but judging by them and how they behave I don’t really hold any hope for it!

Disappointment!

Sea view and balcony was great. Big apartment - lot of space. Beds are big and comfy. Air conditioning are in 2 rooms. The small shop was really close, but prices are really high, because it's the only shop in Komarna. It's better to go to Plodine in Opuzen (15 minutes by car). The beach is also really close - just few stairs down and you're there. It's small, but you can always find a place. However, there is no place with shade. There's another beach just 5 minutes walk - it's bigger and with trees, so you can rest from sun. In Komarna are 2 restaurants, but unfortunately no promenade with bars or souvenirs. But it's a great place to travel to another towns, for example Dubrovnik or Makarska riviera.

I'm sorry that I have to write this, because the lady who checked us in was nice, but we were disappointed of multiple things. Communication with the owner was really bad. We didn't have a kettle in our room (which supposed to be there), so we politely asked for it by SMS. The owner told us, he will give it to us the next morning. That didn't happen. We waited another whole day, texting and calling the owner, but there was no answer. After 3 days he just left it in front of our door without a word. Next: We spent the first day of our vacation by cleaning the apartment, because it was a disaster. Dirty dishes with leftover food on them. Breadcrumbs everywhere! On the couch, on the floor, food table... The stove was also dirty and oily. In the bathroom was some weird horrible smell, so we had to buy some air freshener. And I don't want to talk about toilet brush. The furniture and equipment was old and kind of damaged. Also lot of light bulbs didn't work and there were no night lamps (it was on the picture of the room). I'm sorry but I would really expect better service and equipment, especially when I saw the cars the owners drove. Also we were little bit confused which house is Holiday Home, because there was no name on it. The only positive thing about this all is that we booked our vacation in first minute offer, so it wasn't that expensive as it is during the main season. Overall Komarna is a beautiful small town when you're looking for a quiet place with not a lot of tourists.

Nice comfy affordable place to stay so long as the managers mandate the customer noise.

Comfortable room and bed with a cute little beach down the stairs. The managers were very kind and helpful.

A bus load of guests kept singing loudly until 2+ am. The policy read all quiet from 10pm. We had very disturbed sleep. There were a few basic items- spoons, glasses etc missing from the room and no kettle or tea/ coffee.

Compact accommodations

The location is excellent. The host sent a video on how to get to the accommodation, but sadly we had no wifi to see it. Everything was clean.

We are traveling as a group of 3 and the bed for the bed for the 3rd person was very uncomfortable. There was not enough cutlery and crockery for the 3 of us. The photos did not represent on Booking.com did not represent where we staying at all.

Really nice and relaxing stay.

My stay in the apartment was great. The hostess was nice and helpful. Everything was at it said in the description. It was clean and equipped with sheets and towels. Location is close to the sea, just a staircase away. You exit on the small beach that has a cafe and restaurant right next to it.

Mediocre and expensive

Location is nice if you want to admire the bridge. There is a nice cafe close by with view of the bridge.

The arrangement in the hotel is not taken care of, for example, different lamps, different colours, the kitchen does not have stuff that you need. Everything looked very cheap and cleanliness desired for better. Price-quality ratio very bad. It costs too much for what it offers. But ok if you stop one night for transit…

The apartment is in a good location, the sea is right next to it, the beach is small but beautiful.

The only thing missing from the apartment was an additional countertop near the sink for preparing food. And the pillows were uncomfortable because they were blankets (you should put pillows in the covers, not blankets. It was very difficult to find, because the names of the hotel are different - booking.com has one, but on the buildings it is different

Very close to the beach, has nice rooms, and has a very cool terrace with a sea view. Good equipment for apartment - new TV, functional kitchen, no problem with WI-FI and cold/hot water. The restaurant has delicious food and a very friendly staff. The quality/price was very good.

Will be nice to have more places for children around the hotel. Towels and linen have not in very good condition, but it is included in the price and available. in the shower room, attention could be paid to cleanliness. the neighboring apartments with the constant smell of smoke from the barbecue were a little disturbing

Friendly host, good stopover location, spacious apartment

Free parking in front of the property. Friendly host upgraded us to a bigger available apartment. Excellent price in May compared to much higher prices in July.

Had problem finding property on arrival as property number is not displayed. Bedroom and all windows do not have liners or curtains, so for privacy from the road outside, have to roll down wooden shutters making it dark and no ventilation.

Great location and view

The main thing why you should come to this apartment is the view! It's simply amazing! The apartment is big, there is enough place for 3 couples, and there is a separate bathroom for each bedroom which is very convenient. The host is very nice. Location is superb, right on the first line, 50 m from the beach.
