Family Home in Seaside Town

Very nice, specious property. I really enjoyed our stay, the reviews got me a bit worried about the state of the house, but to be honest they are either super unreasonable or the landlord had addressed them. I could see few marks on the wall or a wobbly drawer, but I find it ridiculous to be bothered by it. The house is big, spacious, clean, kitchen is well equipped, there are two big dinning tables, so plenty of space to sit everyone. Great place to stay on my opinion!

The property is in a very good, accessible location with a good amount of room and space. Shops, bar, sea side and all others attraction place were very close to house.

Overall, maintenance is not good; wear and tear marks must be repaired in a timely manner. The rubbish bin must be empty for the next visitor. Wall clocks and mirrors are missing.

Very minor. Little bit of wear and tear in places but overall very good. Maybe a few more teaspoons and a better selection of glasses. But as I say very minor.

The house was located in St Leonard’s, not Hastings, so involved a car journey or bus ride to the centre. Although Fern Rd is quite a busy road, the location felt quiet. Also, near Tesco metro for limited supplies.

We were greeted by overflowing dustbins, rubbish and broken glass strewn over the drive and very unkempt garden. Not auspicious. During the night we heard wildlife raiding the bins, which clearly had not been emptied for some time. A complaint to the company We Love Property resulted in the excess rubbish and glass being cleared the following day, but bins were still overfilled, so nowhere to leave our rubbish. A predictable consequence of this, we saw a rat running up the drive the following day. Bedding was poor quality and cleaning of crockery and pans was necessary before use. We also had to clean out two rancid drains, one on bathroom basin, one on a shower, as they were clogged and about to overflow. Simple touches such as a coat rack, mirror in bathroom, better quality bedding would make a huge difference
