Sería bueno que incremente un microondas,nada más.. De ahí el excelente servicio.... Diana la señora encargada estaba predispuesta para todos los requerimientos que necesitábamos, e incluso nos acompañó a hacer las compras por lo que no conocíamos el lugar..Una excelente anfitriona.. Un lugar que brinda las comodidades que el huésped necesita y está cerca de todo .. Recomendado al cien por ciento..

Apartahotel is very nice exactly as it is on booking. All the staff are friendly and responsive; they were also flexible with the checkout on my last day. I got my clothes washed and that was also great. Definitely I would recommend this property without any doubt.

Not a major thing but would have been nice to have the room cleaned half way thru my stay. Always best to move around and come back from El Centro with Uber.

It was good to have Maryluz and Diana available to answer questions regarding local shops, or anything really. And it was useful to have Maryluz meet me at the airport. I'd been travelling for 48 hours and the last thing I would need is to have to try to get a taxi to find the place. The only taxis who can find the address are the ones that are near the accommodation, at least in my experience. So if you are coming from the airport I'd definitely recommend you make use of the Mary Luz meeting you there. Even though the listing says the shuttle service is included , Maryluz will remind you that you may wish to consider paying her fare to meet you at the airport ( I received a text to that effect as I boarded the plane for Cartagena). We're only talking about a few dollars here using Indrive taxi app. but I feel the listing on booking.com should state clearly that you should pay the fare to and from the airport. Just to clarify, Maryluz lives beside the accommodation. Personally I like everything to be absolutely clear beforehand, so I know exactly what I must pay and when. Speaking of payment , I arrived to discover that I was supposed to pay in cash. Having always used Airbnb in the past , and having submitted my debit card details , I assumed the payment would be taken from my card. Wrong! Carlos allowed me some days to get the payment sorted out...I needed several trips to the ATM and it incurred a lot of fees. I should have read the previous reviews more carefully.A previous guest had exactly the same problem. It might be a good idea though to highlight on the listing that payment must be in cash to prevent similar problems in future. A big plus is the friendliness and helpfulness of the neighbours. They warn you about areas to avoid in the neighborhood etc. I really liked all of them!

As a European I am not used to the noise levels in Colombia. It seems there are only two levels for music here. Zero or full volume. The last weekend of January had two parties in the neighborhood which seemed to last most of the weekend. But really that problem can occur in any neighborhood except maybe some of the tourist oriented apartment blocks where noise restrictions are applied. The kitchen drawer was badly equipped -when I started to cook breakfast on the first Saturday I discovered there were no table knives nor teaspoons. As soon as I complained Maryluz arrived with one teaspoon and one knife! I suggest that it might be a good idea to do a pre check-in checklist to make sure that all the essential utensils and cutlery are in place. Although what happened shows a lack of attention to detail, it was not something which could not be resolved quickly. Something else which would make a big difference for little cost would be the addition of a small work surface to the left of the sink . A simple piece of wood or a shelf at sink level would make it so much easier to prepare food for cooking . And a shelf for storing salt , pepper ,sugar etc is badly needed. Such simple enhancements would have made a huge contribution to ease of use of the kitchen . Some previous guests have commented about the area seeming to be very run down and dangerous. I have mixed feelings about this. There is indeed a lot of filth and litter on the streets , and I wouldn't wander around late at night, but that said , I never felt threatened going to the supermarket etc but I think a young female visitor from another country would feel intimidated there. Finally, the bathroom is located beside the kitchen and it smells terrible. I think this may be more to do with the sewage infrastructure than the apartment itself but it is unpleasant. You'll need to keep the bathroom door closed.
